Banner goes hard man I’m growing banner 2 right now, but this is a pic of banner og end of week 8 a while back. It produces well. Enjoy it! It does go on the lighter side of things in late flower. It gets really colorful.

Wouldn't hurt. I got Red Poison from them and it came in Sweet Seeds original breeder pack. It grew real nice in a 3 gal and yielded pretty purple resinous flowers with pink trichromes. It's my favorite smoke right now. Great to hit hard before lying down or taking care of my diabetic nerve pains.

This is the Bruce Banner now.
Just flipped the lights to 12/12 yesterday.
Scrog is installed.

Got 3 indicas and 2 Northern Filipino Landrace Kibungan Sativas. So far 1 Sativa is female. Can't sex The smaller one yet

I missed that Filipino Kibungan before, my GF lives there & drug laws are HARSH so I was surprised to hear about the existence of the strain as growing weed there can get you shot, resembles the landrace someone gifted me seeds here that I'm presently growing but I'm taking them slower.

Wallywonks I really like your set up. The plants look great. I think I'm going to try some of those tomato cages. They're small and look perfect. Then, like you, a trellis net above. I'm struggling to find places to tie down to in a 2x4 bed. I'm loath to make holes in the sides.

Also I wanted to ask you a question about your Lst. To break apical dominance I learned to just tip the plant over. It works fine but I usually plant to one side of the pot or bed to compensate for the tip, so it's still sorta centered. But I noticed in one of your pics that it looks like you just pull down the branches at the top, or maybe just the highest branches. It sounds stupid but I never thought of doing that. It seems easier. If I have it right you just hold down the top branches until the others catch up then you've got your canopy?

Thanks bro.

About the tying down, after I top the plant I wait till it grows a bit like 3 nodes then I tie them to make it even.
So yeh I tie the highest down to let the lower branch tips catch up.

If the tops recover faster then I just retie them down till their as even l. Then I adjust it accordingly throughout veg if needed.

Usually after a few weeks your shape is molded and the plant will fill in the space around it.

I use pipe cleaners cause their really cheap and work great. I tie then to the tomato cage carefully.

I tried tying down a plant sideways once and I didn't like it's growth pattern. The top still wanted to be dominant. After I topped it then it lost its dominance.

Its easier to mold it with topping or fimming with a support structure.

I'm glad my ideas and format can help you and others.

Good luck growing

I'm confused as to why you are topping them then using LST LST is a better alternative that allows your plant to not have to heal. Faster veg times!
Second concern for you my friend is never tie the top to anything but it's own stalk. The plant will rip its self out of the medium. Everything looks great

I'm not worried about fast veg times. I go usually 6 to 8 weeks in veg. I top usually week 3. It never has affected the growth really that much for me.

I had a Super Skunk I topped and she kept going like nothing happened. I topped a Blueberry Cheesecake that ended up being 55" tall indoors which is my max plant height.

Never had issues with tying down to the tomato cage either. I usually remove the tie downs 2 weeks after flip. I do use the tie downs to keep the colas spaced apart higher up but I'm using a Scrog net th8s time to space them out.

I top and lst too, if you do both, it has a longer veg time sure, but not by much really. I usually will top to 16 mainlines and let the plant fill in the rest. Even doing that it’s a 5-6 week veg time. Blue dream acts like it never even got cut and just keeps on trucking for example.

True its usually a couple days to a week. I guess depends on the strain and if it's fussy. But then I'll just assume it's genetics are weak if it takes long to recover. That Super Skunk that never missed a beat had smoke so good it was trippy.

Great info bro, thank you! My next grow I'm def going to incorporate the tomato cages and not bending it down. I'm looking around for the cages now. Happy Growing bro. I'll check back in with you later.

Start of week 9

Temps 72F to 79F
Humidity is around 52%
Feed has been changed to Tridents Pride 2-4-1 Fish Hydrolysate.

Gave her 1000ppm feed this week of it.
The fish hydrolysate has alot of Phosphoric Acid so it took a bit of Potassium Bicarbonate to bring the pH to 6.5. But she needs Potassium anyways in flower too.

Week 3 of flower is over. The stretch is coming to a halt. 1.5 inches the past week. Buds are forming now

She's looking very healthy and no deficiencies showing.

Just will be doing minor defoliation to remove leaves that are blocking bud sites if I can't tuck them on as needed basis only.

Starting week 6 of flower.

Temps are 79F to 72F
Humidity is 45 to 50%

Feeding her 1200ppm of
Alaskan Fish Morbloom 0-10-10 and Trident's Pride 2-4-1 Fish Hydrolysate.

Everything is going well. No issues. I had to put a bucket under her to even out the canopy because of my Filipino Sativa stretching for Beanstalk land.

Buds are fattening every week. Trichromes are forming. Smells like berries and gas.
