I'm no expert, but you definitely have a ways to go. Hopefully some experienced growers can give you a ball park.
What part of the world are you located in? Will you be facing freezing temps anytime soon?
I'll post pics tomorrow. I don't have any good recent ones. Thank you for replying.I'm in Ohio. Pretty sure my frost date is the same or close.
I'm not sure I'd bring them inside, but I'd listen to someone that has years of experience.
Probably want to see more photos of the plant in her entirety too.
Within the first 3 weeks, have they stopped growing taller yet?Are any of you experienced growers able to help me figure out what week I'm in for bud growth? I noticed buds on 8/17 (1st pic taken with iPhone). 2nd pic was taken Saturday 9/7 (this pic was taken with my macro lens so you can zoom in if it helps determine the bud age). This is a sativa plant about 8-9 feet tall. I would love to know what week this pic might suggest the bud is. I've read I need to change the nutrients as the buds get older. Any help would be greatly appreciated. First time grower and I've read so much helpful stuff on this site. Thank you! Thank you!View attachment 2271531View attachment 2271532
That's looking like a 14plus week sativa buy the flower size. Pay attention to the flowering time on those sativas because they can be up to 21weeks long. Are any of you experienced growers able to help me figure out what week I'm in for bud growth? I don't think so, but maybe that's because the buds are getting taller. The sativa buds are twice the size of the indica, but that plant was also much bigger than the indicas (I only have 1 sativa) when I got them.Within the first 3 weeks, have they stopped growing taller yet?
It's actually a garden spider. He's a good guy. :) I know too much about spider mites.i would be more concerned about the spider web

When they stop growing vertically they are probably about 3 weeks into flower. You cam check trichomes anytime just check nug not super leafs. I would wait a few weeks and revisit though.I don't think so, but maybe that's because the buds are getting taller. Haha! Not in my area. I posted a pic of my guy. I let him keep his real estate. He's good for my veggie garden too. :)Garden spider!
Awesome thank you. Well I'm at least into 3 weeks by the date of my pics so that's a bit of a hint. Thank you for replying. It's wild how different they all are. It said 10 week when I bought it (it was a teen), but I'm so new to this I'm not sure what the 10 was referring to. The indica's said 8 weeks, so I thought it meant the flowering process on both, but the indica seems really far behind the sativa so that wouldn't make sense??? Or, are indica bus much smaller than sativa? Thank you for replying. That's looking like a 14plus week sativa buy the flower size. They are outdoor in 20 gallon pots, but that pic is super helpful. Thank you. :)That size is pretty typical for week three of flower indoor. These are about 5-6 weeks in flower.
