I probably wouldn't do lemon juice because it might change the terps but tbh i've never cleaned my buds so take with a grain of saltOk I’ve read a bunch of post so I went and got baking soda lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide ….but then I seen a video buy jorge cervantis or whoever and all he used what hydrogen peroxide ….so can I just use hydrogen peroxide ? So wash the buds and do a cup per 5 gallons like he did …..or is the lemon juice and baking soda also needed ….? Please and thanks
No need to spray them or wash them in my opinion. Ive sprayed them with ro when i seen light burn, but then i backed off lights. .only during veg.Wash bud? For what? If it's covered in PM washing won't fix it. It will always be PM weed. Water curing is done differently. Not all that common.
Instead, you can try to wash your buds with hydrogen peroxide if you don’t have baking soda and lemon juice on hand. It’s safe, and it won’t affect the flavor of your buds."Do note that the amount of baking soda and lemon juice is proportional to the size of the buckets you’ll be using.
There's a grower podcast I sometimes listen to that had an episode on bud washing. I never listened to it, because I thought, "Bud washing? What the fuck would I do that for?"I'd rather smoke some bugs than wash the weed. But water cure it and make an extract. Totally cool.
I've washed my buds many times with good results, it smooths out the snap crackle pop of mite's their shit & dead skeletons. 3 buckets H2O2/ lemon & soda then clean water in the 3rd .hang to dry with a osculating fan for about 2 hrs until all the water is dried off then dry normally Gently is the best word to use because vigorous washing does wash trich's away.....Some taste & color is lost but it smooths out the smoke on infected weed. Or dirty near a gravel road or in a dusty area.......wash em....There's a grower podcast I sometimes listen to that had an episode on bud washing. I guess that question could be answered by listening to it.
I wash my outdoor buds even though it's greenhouse grown. Although intake air is filtered, it's not of such a construction that bugs don't ever find a way in. I use the 3 step method but I only use H2O2 at about a cup per 5 gallons of water. The other 2 buckets have fresh water for rinsing. I haven't had any trouble with this method.I've washed my buds many times with good results, it smooths out the snap crackle pop of mite's their shit & dead skeletons. Why lemon juice and Soda? Jorge said so..........I know not but when Jorge speaks i listen

Do you see a big difference in the appearance/structure of the buds? If you have really dense buds does the process loosen them up? Do they tend to flake if you do a final manicure after the process?I grow outdoor and wash my bud with the three bucket method. Even without a pest problem, the amount of shit, dust, pollen and unfortunate passer bys that get stuck to the buds and come off in the wash is impressive. I have environmental allergies, so if I wanna smoke without having an allergy attack, washing is a must. I've done many a grow without a wash, and the smoke is smoother when washed, the potency lost is negligible if you're growing good shit.
You wash your vegetables before eating yes? Same difference.
I guess that's not a bad idea, distilled or RO water, but I've not had any issues with my well water other than it does wash out some flavor & if your rough with it you can lose trichomes in the wash. It smooths out the smoke and cleans the debris off. Looking through a microscope camera I can see black spots of debris and hairs before that I don't see afterwards. After the first rinse of the first buds you'll see floating debris after 6 -7 buds you'll need to scoop out the floating crud to clean more.Use distilled water
If using tap you’re just gonna be soaking it in minerals and shit
Depends on environment. If ur humidity is in the 60’s I’d say it’s safe to wash just point a fan at them for 2 hours afterwardsQuick question - I harvested 24hrs ago and think I might try this, but am I too late?
Can you still wash once they have been on the rack for 24 or probably more likely now, 48hrs?
Cheers.
