Yes, there is a lake about 1/4 mile from here, but I also have a seasonal creek close to the garden. I can only presume he/she came from one of the creek beds. I have lots of snakes and lizards in the garden, but this was my first turtle encounter. It must be a sign of a good harvest in a couple of months.love turtles! Had one as a kid. At you by water?
Thats awesome! My first thought was someone’s pet got out! Or you were just messing with us!! That is so cool! we have a little lake in our area we “hike” around lol that has families of turtles that will sit on the logs in rows! It’s pretty cool! : ) the kids love it!Yes, there is a lake about 1/4 mile from here, but I also have a seasonal creek close to the garden. I can only presume he/she came from one of the creek beds. Hi, most older pics are made with a Canon Power Shot SX500 IS with macro indeed.@Poekie sorry if i missed this! What device are you using to capture!?I’ve stated it before around here, the fam and I are wanting a “nice” camera for our adventures, and I would LOVE (almost a non negotiable criteria) for it to have some sort of macro function : ) I know Sunin is rocking a nice unit IIRC : ) want to join the club! I have been taking pictures since I was a young child! I love “the art” of photography but also just like capturing moments! I used instagram years ago but that site has gone to complete dog shit and isn’t about photography anymore (if it really ever was lol). Thanks!
Thanks for the info!Hi, most older pics are made with a Canon Power Shot SX500 IS with macro indeed.
But all pics from the last 2 years or so with my cheap mobile phone, nothing special.
I do like some simple editing, not photoshop, just basics like contrast, color, shadows etc.
Yeah me too, started making pics as a young boy, always enjoyed it, images can be very impressive.
Used to have a dark room long time ago, that was fun.
Yeah its pretty cool when you see the image slowly appearing. Thanks for the info!
I hung out in the dark room during one of my tech class periods lol! I loved the class I was in but also LOOOVED the entire process of developing!!! : )
Yeah is this still a thing I could do with my kids? I have an 11 year old who could handle the dark room. My 7 year old is still too spazzy but would love taking pictures! The 4 year old would just want to be IN the picturesYeah its pretty cool when you see the image slowly appearing.
So different from this digital era.
That's about what my yard sounds like right now. Whenever my dog runs around the orange and pomegranate trees 10-15 come flying out, lol.

Both of my hunzas were male. A shame! But I got three female panjshirs that aren’t looking too shabby! I think one with magenta pistols! And one female Arcadian! I’m happy with it! Haven’t started budding yet. Por tu salud y felicidad !!Hunza valley from @Oldchucky has quite narrow leaves and nice horns.
But i'm afraid its a male...

The last of the Pansjir looks more like a typical broad leaf, but unfortunately is also a male.
