The female hunts in dead wood for the grubs of the European rhinoceros beetle which it paralyses by stinging it and then lays a single egg on the larva. The larval wasp consumes the beetle larva apart from its skin. Once the beetle larva had been consumed the wasp larva builds a cocoon and pupates, emerging from the cocoon as an adult in the following spring.

About time we get to see your beautiful bugs! How’s it going? Got a lot of mud daubers around here that paralyze an insect and lay an egg on it, and then deposit into their mud chamber! Unfortunately, most of them are supposedly spiders! Oh well! I don’t argue with mother nature! decided to take a look, and I’ll be damned! A rare win, hopefully!

Yeah that female was a beauty, very impressive and not agressive at all.

Doing allright thanks, busy with working and gardening.
18 year old doggie had a serie of strokes, she recuperated really well, only her balance isnt great yet.

We've been having a mediterranean heatwave, around 40°, thinking of building some kind of automatic watering system to make it easier for myself and spent less time with the mosquitos that are pretty nasty around watering time.

Got quite a few of the Punto Rojo going, will make seeds again and surely some will be able to find their way towards your part of the world.

Well, you might wanna rethink that! I’ve wound up with no Kulu Valley! And the last Uzbekistan threw me a face full of balls this evening! Lol! So long story short, the only one I have is the Cali China x Panjshir! But she is an interesting one, and I’ll shoot a picture of her tomorrow! The last couple of months are kind of a blur. I don’t know where all this shit goes to! Lol! I just take stock when the dust finally settles! talk to you later brother and thanks!

What happened to the Kullu Valley?
All males?

I am germinating a few Kali China x Panshir now, liked them a lot even though i had one hermie.
Its late for germinating, they will be small but thats ok.
Revegging to take clones took forever, clones still dont have roots so better drop some seeds.

Another one i tried to reveg was Scrambler Haze from @Blimburnseeds.
Best smelling plant this spring harvest and very potent effect.

For some reason she also took forever to reveg, clones also still without roots, but she had some seeds from your male Panshir, i started germinating them yesterday evening and i just looked and already see the first roots.
Had doubts if the seeds were still good as i found them on top of the soil, they must have fallen from the buds during the heatwave, might have been in the sun for days but still super quick germination, amazing...

I’m not sure what happened to all of the Kulu Valley! I probably killed a few around germination and then there were some males! Recordkeeping is not one of my strong suits! Was putzing around the garden last night when something caught my eye! The last Uzbekistan! Lol! Going out back in a few and will shoot a picture of the KC x panjshir! Really tight nodes! Hoping it will grow up to be a, cousin it, plant! About 5 feet of brick shit house! Lol! Have a few Mazar, Sinaloa, and Jalisco, still going and one crippled hunza valley that might pull through!

Thats a pity about the Kullu, but even more reason to sent you some Punto Rojo seeds for next season.

Curious about the Mexicanas you got going, thinking about growing some Thai, Mexican or Hawaian next year.
Its great to have a different sativa landrace every season.

Nice!
Short internodes indeed, very indica looking.

That Panshir male of yours gave such a strong Afghan like smell to this cross it really surprised me.

Got about half a dozen other strains also crossed with that Panshir, gonna try some for next spring harvest.
Endless variation...

Had a hover fly take a ride on my arm from one end of the yard to the other, then stayed.
Hope they like the new neighborhood. LOL
