Sooo....you could use PVC for the frame...I guess you’d want a good material for the walls that doesn’t absorb moisture, and would need to spend the money on an exhaust fan anyway right? So is it less money just to buy a cheap 2x2 tent with exhaust? What do you guys think?

Oh, btw....only for 3 plants at most.

If you have a cool, dry area in your basement (or other area) available to hang it, you could use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Hanging-Indoor-Organizer-Freshner-Bottom/dp/B07BDMFGTP/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=3+tier+herb+drying+rack&qid=1639196590&sr=8-5&th=1

Edit: That is just an example. They come in many sizes. That one is quite small.

Yeah I’ve seen those. I always figured it’d dry out too fast. Guess it depends on humidity right?
Exactly. You will want air moving in the drying area but not directly on the drying net. If the drying area has a pretty constant humidity level between 55-60%, then drying in a net should work ok.

I use a much larger net and it depends on the time of year whether or not I dry out too fast. Humidity and temperature control are critical though.

Makes sense...especially that you need a humongous giant large net compared to my little puny flycatcher sized net for my tiny little buds in my tiny little tent. 🤣

I know that’s not what you meant but it’s still hilarious lol. So I’m thinking in March I’ll be harvesting, Humidity is like 38% in my home in dead of winter. So let’s just say 40ish in March. Maybe a tent would be better?

I dry in that rack but place it inside a 2.5' x 5' tent in the summer when temps are higher. I will also use a paper grocery bag to slow the moisture loss if its super warm.

P.S. I still think after a few harvests, you will want a bigger tent - space permitting. 😁

Well of course! I’d rather grow 4 strains, two of each. Also more space would be nice...but that’s with anything. I do like that my 3x3 doesn’t take up much space. If I didn’t have a room full of instruments I’d throw an 8x8 in there...but my music needs a nice home too. Who knows maybe down the road I’ll conjure something else up but for now it seems to be perfect (although they haven’t filled the tent yet so maybe that’ll change lol).

I use a couple of large boxes with string and open them up before bedtime and close when I wake(that's about 6 hrs for me lol)...it's getto but worked great for me lol...MMFFL😎

so what did you get out of the 3? I have 1 seedling that was bad but gotten it here & in the grow room & doing well waiting on the other 2 seeds to drop underwater so I can put them on damp towels, bought a 2000 watt grow light with a 4 x 4 width & 7 feet tall with a lot of ventilation shafts coming out getting a kit to add once they get stronger she's a little just yet but she'll be a big mama soon, I'll say it's about a 2-week old seedling ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
