Would you also have any info for flushing. My ppm is around 1500. I know I need to lower itSmall defoliation to help with airflow.
How To Defoliate Cannabis Plants For Maximum Yields
Defoliation is a great method for increasing your cannabis yield by removing leaves that block airflow and impede the plant's growth.www.thcfarmer.com
What media are you in?Would you also have any info for flushing. My ppm is around 1500. I know I need to lower it
I'm running 50 percent happy frog 30 percent ocean forest with 20 percent perlite. Have only fed cal mag. 5 ml/gallon. Every other waterIf your in soil ppm is not a good representation of nutrients so 1500 is absolutely fine. You would only really use ppm for your feeds. In soik sometimes ppm can be 3000 and be fine…. Other times its an issue. The problem in soil is there are other organics that add to ppm that are not nutrients so its not very reliable
Yup keep in keepin on. Plants look good. You can probably cut the cal mag in half if you like.I'm running 50 percent happy frog 30 percent ocean forest with 20 percent perlite. Have only fed cal mag. 5 ml/gallon. Every other water
Thanks. I very much appreciate the advice and time you gave.Yup keep in keepin on. Plants look good. You can probably cut the cal mag in half if you like.
Anytime… and good luck in the grow. Looking great so farThanks. I very much appreciate the advice and time you gave.
it was transplanted two weeks ago. the nodes were very close to eachother from the start. i did just turn my light to full power at about 3 ft from canopy. and i water till slight runoff and wait till couple inches down from top soil is dry. temp stays at 67-70 during 6 hour off period. and 75-80 while lights on. humidity stays from 50-70. also there is two separate plants. first photo is one plant. second and third photo are second plantwas that just transplanted?
looks stunted with twisty/curved leaves..
if not looks too me the plant is starting to experience the start of light stress with improper watering techniques and stop using the calmg until the plant is much bigger and growing correctly..
what is temp and humidity?

the second plant is much smaller than first
i also had a soil ph problem from the start. just 5 days ago got the soil ph inbetween 6 - 6.5humidity is 50-60* not 70
First time grow. About 2 and a half weeks into veg. Have topped twice on each plant and defoliated 2 days ago. Still seems very congested. Pruning isn't something I should do regularly right? Also every so often some fan leaves will have tears or holes. I don't have anything to check for microscopic bugs but I don't see tears or holes consistently happening
At a few weeks into veg I usually would have topped once for most strains. Your plant looks like high indica genetics which usually recover from topping slowly. The topping makes her bushier (low and more branches).
Removing leaves at this point doesn't stop mold from forming on the buds (obviously too early for that) but it will mean the plant doesn't have as many little factories to help her grow. She'll get more space between nodes as she grows without any leaves taken off.
Shedded leaves are a sign of calmag deficiency. White widows tend to spread out more if you defoliate. I grown this same pheno or similar and she was a pain.First time grow. If you want her to stretch out more to give more spacing between the nodes add red led lights to your vegging girls. I bought 4 -4ft cheap led lights off Amzon thinking it may help my lower buds in flower....that was a wash but I added them into my veg room and within 1 week I noticed a jump in my vegging girls...I veg under t5 blue & full spectrum keeping them short and bushy the added red stretches them noticeably.First time grow. As of right now I can't spend any more money to upgrade or add equipment. The ionboard does have some red lights. I had the lights at 100 percent. And turned them down to 80 percent yesterday. And have it about 3 ft away from canopy. I also defoliated moreIf you want her to stretch out more to give more spacing between the nodes add red led lights to your vegging girls. Another fan never hurts, (alright ...almost never). Now, as long as your temp at canopy level is good, you can use a fan to cool your ballast, like you have it, but the light is designed to run without that fan cooling it. You mentioned "airflow throughout the tent", so I'll take it you have an exaust fan and are pulling in fresh air. In general in a tent, you want to pull your fresh and cool air in from the bottom of the tent and set your exaust fan and carbon air scrubber in the top of the tent to exaust out the hotest air. During winter, when I need more heat in my tent, I place a fan on my light just like you've discribed, to push that heat down to the canopy and slow down my exaust fan, but during the summer I set my fans on the floor of the tent pointing upwards to push the cooler air up and speed up my exaust. All that said, summer or winter, I keep fans blowing at and through the canopy 24/7. To keep that air moving over and through the entire plant you will want the fan AND to defoliate from time to time to keep good air flow.I thought of one more question. I have an ionboard s24. The power cell on the back gets decently hot so I use my 4 in fan blowing firectly on it to keep it cool. It's the only fan I have which means I don't have anything blowing towards the plants. Should I get another fan for direct airflow on plants or is it fine as long as I keep adequate airflow throughout the whole tent
