C02 in grow yes or no?

I have heard during flower if you give the girls C02 your buds will be firmer. Someone I know uses dry ice in cans and lets them fog up the room. Benificial or waste of time?

Adding CO2 is not needed with most grows and really should be the last addition an experienced grower adds to their grow room and even then only if they want to bypass fresh intake air and have a sealed room. To each their own. Carbon dioxide is needed for growing plants. More CO2 requires more water, nutrients and light.

Our atmospheric CO2 is presently around 440 ppm of CO2. Just keep fans going and people - this is exactly why fans are used. Not to cool plants or give them resistance training. It’s to exchange the air around the canopy.

As @Homesteader says about sealing your room forget it. Concentrate instead on light and humidity.

I don't use co2,

Active intake in the flwr room.

Passive intake in the veg room humidity controlled exhaust into the drying room (lung) then out.

Ps: its dry here 30% or less

My room is not sealed, it’s vented 24/7. I use a propane co2 burner and an atlas controller to keep co2 levels from 1000- 1200. A twenty pound propane tank last 3-4 weeks. It costs 10$ too fill tank. It costs me 30$ a run and by far the best improvement to my room.
