Caffeine and the OG COB grow

I recently sourced these two clones locally from a dispensary. I chose these two solely off health. Most of the clones looked haggard so I was iffy. I’ve had a hell of a time with my seed stock as I may have cooked em in the garage during summer. I’ve tried popping pack after pack, to no avail. I’ve tried every method in the books, so I’m over it. Being in a crunch with so much going on I figured this is the most economical choice at 2 clones for $20 .

I’ll be setting up the 4x4 soon and running my timber cobs with the supplemental ac infinity lights. So stay tuned for that.

After a brief quarantine, the new growth is coming in nice.

Little update. The OG has gone through the ringers. From the dispensary it came stressed, then revegged. Although it looks haggard, she seems to be turning things around.

The caffeine is really starting to explode and branch out nicely. Another week or three and she’ll be ready for the 3gal.

Temps and humidity have been on point without any exhaust or intake. I’ll get that all squared away shortly.
For this grow I’ll be using beanstalk, royal gold tupur, and og biowar weekly root and nute packs with RO water only. They are currently in route via ups.

And finally I’ll be running my timber COBs x 3. Each are 100w from the wall. I’ll be supplementing with the ac infinity 40w LEDs.

Its going but gets harder very harvest. I am not sure how much longer this is going to play out down here. I talked with a fellow that use to move a fair amount and he mentioned he knew 6 people that stopped and I know of some larger industrial grows that are calling it quits. I just do not understand how the rec guys are making it thru these times. Just because they are selling out the back door, they still have to match the going rate. The flu presented some unique situations and I aware of also. There where a lot of green houses started up in the high desert and for like the last 16 months the San Bernardino Sheriff has been busting those up like 30 grows a week. It is called operation hammer swing but it seems to have no impact. The priced just keep falling. The asian community is also very active in growing, more so recently. But I also hear even the Asians do not want the Asian weed. I also understand the grows up north are way down this year because last year I am hearing numbers of 2 to 3 for outdoor. But yesterday I looked and they had a really good growing season. It is all just confusing to me

Ya it’s hard for you guys that live off the income per se. One thing I see that still holds its value 100% is rosin. If you could some how get something going at ur spot, you’d be able to sustain in the industry. I see the ones that are succeeding are the ones setting themselves apart. Also the ones backed by Infinite money hHahahah

Transplanted to 5 gal. It’ll be a week or so before she bounces back and takes off. Here’s my process to amending my coco for the whole grow. From here on out she’ll only get RO water and an occasional root pack tea.

Can’t wait to have home grown smoke.

Plant and seedlings are looking good today. Gave them a watering of the benys. Turned the cobs to 100% today and it’s bright. Temps and humidity have been on point. I’d say another 2-3 weeks veg depending on the growth then I’ll flip. Hopefully the seedlings are big enough to cut clones, then I’ll flower those to sex them. The seedlings are gmo x jet fuel gelato x Wilson. Should be an interesting one if I find a female.

They took well to the beneficial root pack watering yesterday. I’m going to be getting my little clone tent up and running with the ac infinity 40w lights sooner or later. Hoping to get a some what of a perpetual grow going so I have steady head smoke. Hope all is well

The caffeine is ready for take off. I’ll probably change light cycle tomorrow and get the 3 little ones into the little cloner tent. I finally got the cloner tent up with the new ac infinity 40 w supplemental lights that I won during a giveaway. We shall see how these do for veg light. I plan on getting the little ones big enough to cut clones and I’ll throw them to flower. Hopefully I get a female outta the three.

Put her on the big girl car seat so she can stretch out a bit. Watered in some raw silica.
The little babies are stagnant but I believe they are developing that root zone. Grown with the ac infinity supp lights.

Day 13 flower. She’s popping pistils, but not many. I anticipate another week or 2 of stretch. Perfect. All is well. No deficiencies.

Very nice! My tent is smaller, but I’m am also using Timber COBs plus the AC Infinity supplemental lighting on the sides of my 2x2 SCROG. I look forward to following along.
