Probably OK in veg! I only grow outdoors, so Water does the job! But one thing you will always see on all of these concoctions is, safe to use right up till harvest! Two things you will never see, the word, cannabis, on any of them, and safe to smoke! Use your own judgment!

Juss an update to how the old girl is doin.

Been LST-ing the branches, flattening the plant out. Tons of colas are coming up. Very tight nodes. Got the bug issue resolved. No aphids for a few weeks. Got her greenin up again, reaching up for the light. She's lookin good!

I hope I get a good yield of big, funny nuggies from this thing. Growing low and slow. Ain't decided if ima top it yet. Maybe. We see. She doin great tho!

Another update on the old girl...

Saw a few aphids, and eradicated them. Neem seems to work pretty good, so yea...that's cool.

Think Ima just let her veg now, and do some defoliating when she gets a wee taller. There are so many colas coming up it's insane. This stuff is kinda fun to grow.

Training takes forever...haha. but it will be worth it I'm sure. Gotta get my outdoor crop started here soon too. May do half and half. Some photos, some autos. Ain't decided yet.

Anywhosanways....here are a couple images of the the thing....she's lookin....ok....I think...haha.

For reference, it is only 19 inches tall from pot to top...and almost 27 inches in diameter....with 1/2 inch nodes...crazy tight.

Beauveria bassiana

Is your best friend, for anything insect, flys, spiders mites, russet, broad etc etc.. is a really huge spectrum treatment and very efficient. research a bit about it.

I'll look into that. I had an issue outdoors last year with what looked like corn worms, or so the app I used says that's what they were. Couple snuck in with the crop and got after my Guzzlers....so Ima need to figure that out for this year. Guess they live in the dirt...

beauveria is the beesnees, as nothing can develop resistance to it. Its an aggressive 'alien' fungus, completely safe for pets, humans, bees and etc. just dont eat it LOL

for corn worms and similar, Bacillus thuringiensis is more effective.

both this "products" are better used as IPM, but will control infestations nicely if used correctly.
so you use them during veg, and one time after flipping to flower before any pistils are forming.

Just an update on this thing...

Gettin aphids under control on a bush like this is....difficult....haha. Neem was actually harming it I think....which is odd.

But, she's growing into a massive bush. Tons of colas. If I wanted to clone a strain, this is one on that list. Prolly 100 colas already....insane.

Some leaves are discolored from aphid issues, but new growth has been treated and it seems to be keepin them at bay a bit.

Prolly switch this thing over to flower in the next few weeks.

Got my outdoor season started too....gotta figure sonething out for them cornworms tho, before they show up....

Prolly dunno....but one thing I am learning....when someone deadpans a statement.....maybe perk the ole wind antenna up.

That plant was so infested, I drug it outside and hosed the crap outta it. Prolly not good for it, but dang....that room gonna need a good cleanin.

Ima take the opportunity to perfect cloning tho. The branches are jacked from hosing it down anyways. Theres a ton of foliage in the middle...new growths...so why not. It's easier to clean them damn bugs off a clone than that bush!

I'll never use "ProMix" again. That's where they came from.

That is the aftermath pf what I did.

They were thick. Some leaves were just aphids. Internally, the plant was just...raveged.

So I trimmed it, then I "gently" sprayed all the dead plant and aphid matter out of the center.

This is what was left.

No more aphids. Might have won that war....but the plant....we see. It's pretty.....stressed.

I gotta say, aphids are somethin else. I damn near killed that plant off. Most of it is dead now, so this may be just an experiment at this point, but holy hell. Now that the plant is starting to come back, holy hell are the aphids back again! With a vengeance. The branches that have good foliage on them are white and crawling. What in the....I mean I went to town on this plant with the high pressure spray from he hose nozzle, and killed 80% of it (because lets face it, it wasn't gonna be any good in the condition it was in. Been in veg for over 6 months and the aphids were horrible), treated it with insecticide soaps, food grade diatomaceous earth in both powder AND sprayed it on it. Neem oil, both the pre mix and damn near straight up. These things are impossible to eliminate. I even put a lady bug in there, and it made several more lady bugs and was having a feast, and then those were dead on the floor before I decided to spray it.

Dude was right. I shoulda just scrapped the plant and started over. Now the entire room needs a good cleaning and sterilization, and that plant is toast. I mean, it is regrowing now on some of it, but, in reality, it'd be another 6 months and it's already full of aphids.

Stay away from pro mix and that sunshine brand of medium to use. They are full of aphids. Only 1 time did I get some that DIDN'T do this, and that was the Guzzlers (which finally ran out week ago...man that was good stuff), and every other time I have battled flies and now aphids.

At least my outdoor is doing much better this year (altho I ain't gone out and looked at it for a week or so, but is growing strong), so there is that.
