Cambodian Land Race

a long time friend lives in Cambodia and says the land race weed is amazing
20 bucks for well over an ounce
He is sending seeds for this years summer grow
Will be interesting to see how it works out
Anyone know anything about Cambodian land race?

Wow your going to be some lucky farmer, congrats on the seeds. Can't wait to see what comes of them.

They also have what's called Kampot pepper
The stuff is majical have use before and for some reason when used it enhances everything it is seasoned with that's how he will send

I think ben still carries his nepalese highland sativa.

The plant’s branches have been woven through the trellis fabric in such a way that every growth tip has access to direct light. Over several weeks the weaving process continues until the canopy is relatively flat.

Once flowering is induced, the growth tips will begin to stretch toward the light. Deal with any stray branches that break out of the surface.

As you can see the lower branches and trunk are completely bare. The canopy above is so dense that very little light gets through. Any flowering sites below the canopy are removed. This redirects the plant’s energy resources to the canopy where they will be put to more efficient use.

At this point the plant extends 7 1/2 feet by 5 1/2 feet. That’s more than 40 square feet of surface area which is lit by two 1000W bulbs.

Since this is the first time I’ve grown this landrace I have no real way of knowing how long it will take for them to finish flowering. I’m going to guess and say it will be in the 12 – 15 week range.

Bonus, the cooking this year will be off the wall. Please if you produce the peppers, would you be saving seeds? If so would love to try some.

I usually grow sweet, jalapeño, and a few others for making salsa. Always into new spices, etc.

Hope not in trouble for asking for pepper seeds. Mods if this is wrong please delete.

Any other varieties you'd like to try? It's seed ordering/organizing/trading time. Not looking to sell just to share, and I don't think that there are rules against sharing vegetable seeds, but I am not certain. Hope we don't get the ban hammer.

I have no luck with the bhut, gonna try some carolina reapers this year. A buddy does white scotch bonnets and they are glorious.

That plant was grown from Bohdi's stock and seed journey, it's a very neat read. It was cultivated by Ben at Centennial, if you have ever spent any amount of time talking trees, music, or fishing, he's the guy. This pic is not recent, as I believe he has his hours in hemp now. You can find ben through . That's probably as close to a journal as you're gonna get.

Yes I it is pepper as in salt and pepper got a small packet amazing flavor unlike anything I have had before
