Does this plant have a deficiency this is my first indoor grow I have grown out doors once before.
Ok what would the marking on the leaf be or is it normal many thanksNo deficiency yet.
Ok I did have a look before with a loop and couldn't see anything so thought it was a deficiency I will have another look later thanks for the helpPossibly Thrips. From the markings on the top leaves in the photo.
I ph water to 6.5 before adding any nutes and run off was at 6.05 i did put this in the above but run off was wrote at 6.45 but that was a miss text was ment to be 6.05 temp is 24degrees and 60% humidityNeed a lot more info but possible ph, environmental conditions, watering or other.
Not bug damage as it has a very clear pattern. With no info I would lean towards ph

I do use silica they were warted yesterday and I only ph my water then add silica the calmag and nuts so what ur saying is I should ph after adding everything aswell the other 3 plant are ok maybe flush this one next water and start again as I have just looked again and no bugs I can see though a 30x and 50x loop they are led i have them dimmed to 15000 lux at 36 inchType of light?
You should ALWAYS ph last unless using silica in that case you PH twice. So that could be part of it.
I also notice watering is not even and this can create hot spots in the media. So when you water, water thoroughly until runoff and then let dry well.

Ok thanks that is very helpful as it is my first time using silica from now on I will be using ur way as it makes senseLight sounds good.
For mixing in this order.
Add silica to water.
PH down to 6..6 (for soil type grow)
Then add nutrients
Then ph adjust to desired PH.
Why? Because silica will raise your PH a shit ton.
Why is this bad? Because some nutrients such as iron will precipitate out of a solution and no longer be available to the plants at a higher PH.
So when using silica ALWAYS PH down after adding it. PHing water before adding any nutrients or additive is a waste of your time as it's the final PH before feeding that is important and adding nutrients or additives will change the Ph so any PH adjustments made prior are moot.
