I assume you are talking about outdoors. If not sorry but you could try to dig a deep hole/well to place the plant pot down in and let the plant stretch out of the hole. If you can keep the roots cooler, they should cope better. If that doesn't add up, you could also try shading the area around the plant roots with a cover crop.

there is a relationship to humidity, so maybe make the humidity what the chart says for the temp you have? im just guessing here, dont listen to me, listen to the real farmers here! Homesteader and MIMedGrower know bunches! but the chart is cool, and might be useful some day.
