Im new to hydroponic and thinking to start with only AB nutrient. Anyone did this before and how was the result? Im also planning to try general hydroponic nutrient like floramicro, florabloom and floragro. Do still need to use AB nutrient if im using general hydroponic nutrient? Thanks

Which nutrient line is A&B?
I grew only with part A of mega crop 2 part.
Didn't need the part B because it's just calnit/ nitrogen and calcium, got hard water with enough calcium and mag in it, the part B got a lot of nitrogen and calcium. Worked pretty well, solid results through veg and flower.
So technically yes you can.
I grew in Coco coir, with some clays on the bottom.

From which brand?

Clays are used for the aeration and prevent waterlogging

No i dont have it as the gardening store is mixing the raw ingredient themselves. Im living in asia country so its abit hard for me to get all the proper cannabis nutrient, so i want to try using the ordinary AB nutrient that mostly use by hydroponic farmers such as chili, tomatoes in my country. This come in cheap price, i got 2 bottle @ 1 Litre each, $2.50 per bottle

Okay that's nice!
Don't think we have here any1 from Asia, good to have you here.
Just go for it and try it out!
I had really great results with just a&b and tap water(my water is hard with a lot of calmag in it and without chlorine) which definitely helps.

I only use ab no other additives besides chlorine and pH adjustment

I personally don't use boosters but if you do, you can buy 1lb of mkp powder for like $5 it's the exact same as many super expensive bud boosters like shooting powder for example.
52% Phosphorus, 34% Potassium

mix 14g per 100ml of water then use 1ml per litre to raise the ec 0.1 or 50 ppm, good luck in your journey growing

It's been years since I used any additives using only a + b I get no problems through the cycle or with precipitate because I mixed something wrong.

Mpk powder is the exact chemical ratios of many expensive boosters I'm not promoting them only showing that there's cheaper options if you do use boosters.

if you want to look into it check out 0-52-34 boosters.
