Hi people,hope everyone’s and their ladies are well .I was wondering if I could stop using Overdrive and go back to using Big Bud if I believe I started using the Overdrive too early..I already knitwear that lots don’t bother and have heard it’s just a way of companies making money ,but I fed into it ..it’s my 1st grow,not my 1st thread..my plants are in week 4of bloom ,but about 3 or so weeks ago ,I was informed that I’d struggle to get sense buds with the 600watt burpke LED light I was using ...too true the lad was..anywsy I bought a full spectrum 1000watt phizon light and one of my 3plants flew,it was great to see .but I believe I may have got a bit too keen and exited and mixed up all at the same time..until 6 days ago(thats3feeds) I was using an auto nutrient chart on all 4plants I have..but that one plant that got me all excited I thought maybe that had been the one that I had germinated 1st..so I decided to cut the Big Bud out and use the overdrive,don’t get me wrong ,it’s still looking great ,well to me it is,I’ve seen some wonders on here,..anyways I know the other 3 are in week 4or there abouts..I didn’t do a diary,have gave myself a slap for that ...I did start a side by side experiment (it wasn’t intentional at 1st,but I went with it)with 2under the600watt burple light and 2underthe1000watt full spectrum..So the be all and end all ,is should or can I stop using the overdrive and go bck to the big bud and carry on with all 4plants with the same nutrients until all are ready for the change from the big bud to the overdrive or do I just carry on using overdrive until harvest and see what happens..???any help ,information or even abuse,lols, would be helpful..as the knowledge from THC has been golden ..any help would be appreciated..thanks s will add a photo of all 4..2under tge small burple and 2under the 1000watt full Spectrum and a couple of close ups of the plants themselves..I think you’ll be able to notice what ones flourishing the most ,thanks again..peace out

AN (like many nutrient manufacturers) has very clear nutrient charts and they lay them out in skill levels, the suggestion being you get familiar with basics and move up as you learn.

Is marketing involved; you betcha, and they're among the best at it. They also produce, AN can give you very decent results just with base nutes and stellar results with their recipes once you know what your plants are telling you. The more products you throw at your plants the harder it is to diagnose and fix a problem.

Beyond that, unless a grower acquires a basic understanding of how their plants respond in the growing environment the use, they'll always be reliant on others to first define and then fix their issues. And all too often there will be multiple diagnoses and fixes, only a few of which are likely to be accurate.

FWIW, try half the suggested rate of base nutes first and see how your plants react, as AN tends to recommend a hotter feed than is oftrn neccesary.
