I will do some research but this question has some merit. Bugs, mold, oil, and metals that all reside in the pot.

ive heard that Basalt rock dust is considered "paramagnetic," meaning it has a slight magnetic attraction, and when added to soil, it can potentially positively affect plant growth by enhancing the soil's overall magnetic field, which some researchers believe can improve nutrient uptake and biological activity within the soil. not entirely sure about "magnetic fields" though.

Paramagnetic Rock Dust - Secret To Healthy Plants?

What is paramagnetic rock dust? Well, let’s start with paramagnetism. The soil in your organic garden is paramagnetic. It isn’t magnetic, but is mildly attracted by a magnet and partially aligns with…

I have seen a documentary years ago, about the effects of magnetic fields on flora & fauna. If I remember correctly the plant looked at was corn.

I cant remember if it was under a specific amplitude or frequency of a dynamic magnetic field, but the corn they germinated under this specific field resembled a more ancient form of corn. It grew taller, was more pest resistent and had a higher protein content.
They also did this to fish, with similar effects. River trout if I recall correctly. It also looked meaner.

Im sure you will find something when googling this.
