Who the fuck started this "its ph" thing?

Is this really what the cannabis community is. Last 2 decades was "needs calmag", next twenty years will be "ph out of wack".

Op you have multiple deficiencies likely caused by excess calcium.

At this point, given these pics, I lean toward Ca-caused lockout, too. But who started the "pH thing"? Are you serious?

pH is literally the most important chemical test you can do on soil. This has been recognized in agronomy for a very long time.

It's almost like LEDs became a big thing, and people didn't realize they needed more calmag. Now states are legalizing left and right, and new growers don't understand the importance of ph... But who knows where these crazy trends come from

To me it looks like the plants were flipped to flower and fed bloom nutes at an extreme ppm amount causing soil toxicity. It looks like they were maybe growing ok before, and now they aren't uptaking anything because the op dumped some crazy bloom concoction in when he switched the lights. Just shooting from the hip still. We need more info. I agree it looks like maybe over watering too.

You can get away with not ph-ing in soil as long as you put in proper amounts of stuff, it will buffer... not so in coco obviously. Those plants look rough, nutes all out of whack somehow, but we need more info.

I never ph in promix and I use synthetic nutes - just about anything with dolimite in it , phing ur water is useless, may even do more harm than good depending on what the buffer is derived from . It’s important yes , but I todays world most cannabis soil has it taken care of in my humble opinion

If it works for you, continue your method. It’s because you’re consistent with your growing habits.
What’s important is the ph of the growing media, and testing to make sure it’s where plants grow at optimum.
Improper feeding and watering practices can move ph out of whack over time and needs to be stable.
To each their own, but pro growers monitor these numbers, especially when plants are symptomatic. OP, dropped photos with no info so who knows how they were abused.

I'm just saying. IN SOIL, I never pH anything. I don't measure anything, just eyeball stuff when mixing soil. Don't measure ppfd. I monitor temp and humidity and adjust if issues arise, but I don't dial VPD. It doesn't have to be a rocket science hydro experiment. It can be simple. It works out alright, man.
