I just finished dealing with a spider mite infestation. Neither pic looks like what I had. I was lucky and plant was just in veg and was isolated from other plants. I personally had to take the plant outside but I guess it could be done in a shower. I sprayed it off with a hose then I applied a solution of:

8 cups - Distilled Water
1/4 cup - Teatree Castile Soap
1/4 cup - Peppermint Castile Soap
1 tablespoon - 1% Peroxide ( I use 3% but dilute it 1 tsp h2o2 and 2 tsp h2o)
1 cup - 70% Alcohol

I did this for a 5 days straight. Just applying the spray did not work on its own I had to spray off as much as a could with the water shower. This should also work on aphids and mealy bugs as well.

Its a dwc so I also swapped out the res nute solution upping PPM a bit and making sure to soak the top layer of hydroton with the same pest medicine. If soil I know many will repot with clean soil in case there are eggs or w/e in the soil. Your plant will probably drop a lot of leaves even after you get rid of them. I had leaves dry up and die for about a month after treatment. Plant recovered nicely, however, and is now in flower starting to smell wonderful.
