Hello friends and Happy Holiday's! I'm a new member to this forum. The graphics remind me off the old Overgrow website. Nice!

Say, I noticed dark circles forming under my eyes like Marc Emery has in many of his pictures and assumed it may be from lack of REM sleep from being very chronic on potent cannabis everyday. So, I decided to take a break from toking/vaping for a month while working out hard at the YMCA. The thing I noticed is that all during the month and even after a month, my REM sleep must've been very active, judging by the fact I remember many of my vivid dreams upon wakening. Do you suppose chronic cannabis toking can inhibit REM sleep? I haven't remembered dreams for years and years and then abstain for a awhile and the dreams come back like crazy. Even short naps are characterized by vivid dreams that I can remember upon wakening and I've noticed the dark eye rings under my eyes are less visible.

I'd love to see a large scale study on this one. Due to my anxiety I have problems sleeping without cannabis very regularly. Luckily I've had a supply of cannabis to deal with this for years

The ONLY time I remember dreams anymore is when I wake from a full nights sleep, smoke a pile, and then fall right back asleep.

The droopy eyes seem to only go away with a long vacation

"i read cannabis fucks up your 5htp and you can supplement with it and get ur dreams back"

I noticed when the Dr. prescribed me Hydroxyzine for a skin condition, I got dreams even while on cannabis and slept much better as well. I'd say losing REM sleep is the only negative I've ever come across being chronic for 23 years. The withdrawals can be pretty intense when your chronic on ice wax. Night sweats, no sleep or little sleep the first week, no appetite. If you're going to go off weed for awhile I'd taper off especially if you're doing ice wax or BHO.
