Ingested THC follows a different metabolic pathway which results in 11-Hydroxy-THC. 11-Hydroxy-THC is different from and has different effects than THC, which can be more intense than THC in some. Especially when it comes to edibles I don't think the indica / sativa generalizations apply. I don't know anyone who has used it but, another option for the wife might be something like Foria. Agree to disagree on the indica’s over sativa’s...Pot doesn't turn me on but I'm going to go ahead and say sativas are better than indicas for this purpose because indicas are known to put someone in a state of rest, if not sleep.
