Hi, please can you help! I can't seem to get past the 2 week stage with my seedlings. The new shoots turn white and the growth stops. I kept them under a cfl lamp this time incase it was bleaching from the led light but it still happened. Damping soil and spraying seedlings 3 times a day with pH 6.5 water. Canna light mix soil, 25° 80% Rh and 420 ppms. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Damping soil when needed that is, only lightly misting 3 times a day.

That's not light bleaching it's an iron issue. Stop spraying it immediately and decrease your humidity to 65%

They're sticky orange autos. Do you think I should start again or are they worth trying to save?

That’s strange. I would say just off of looks it’s potentially overwatered or you got a really hot batch of soil and it’s going through nutrient lockout. Regardless I would do what @Grownsince95 said and stop watering and get to a lower humidity. I can’t tell ya if it’s worth it to keep going though I don’t have much experience with Autos. I’ve only done photos my whole time growing.

You are also 100% correct, it's iron that's being locked out

Strange that it would be lockout tho, due to the fact I've only been feeding ph'd water. Would calmag help?

I don’t think you’re lacking anything my only guess is that the soil itself was a hot batch that was too high in nutrients and that is what’s causing it. I would also pH the soil and check that your meter is accurate just to cross any pH issues off the list . Because from what it sounds like with your setup the only problems it could be are lockout, overwatering, or a pH issue.

They were under a cfl lamp when it started. I thought it could be lack of light so I've now got them under my telos 10 pros at 30cm at 150 mols. I think you're right that it's incorrect watering by myself that is the issue. I've always started with cuttings and just can't get this seedling stage right. I've checked the vpd for 25° and 80rh and it's high. So I'll bring temp and Rh down so I'm at 0.6. should I spray seedlings at all or only for a certain amount of days? This is my 4th time potentially failing with seeds.

Iron lockout; check your Soil pH
Or anaerobic roots; needs to breathe

you need to learn how to water correctly,
it’s easier to start seeds with in a smaller pot and transplant up as needed,
you need to water with a wet/dry cycle,.
so you got a tiny plant in a big bag,, so for the first 4-5 waterings i’d give 500-1000ml in 100ml intervals a few inches out from the main stem every 15 mins till done,, probably every 4-5 days,. than when the plant gets 4-5 nodes in growth start to water the whole bag with larger amount of water in the same fashion,
