6 Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer and 6 Purple Frost Giant (super grape pheno), feminized photos from Welcome to the Growtent. 6 Bubbleberry F2 regs from Riot Seeds. This first pic is six days from seed. 17 of 18 popped. Not holding out much hope for CASH #6...the seed looked pretty rough. 100% coco. Flood tray with Jack's 321 at 1.0 EC to start. Pump runs for four minutes, every six hours. Seedling light is a single 2-foot 6500K T5.

Got the sex testing results back from Farmer Freeman. Super quick turnaround, btw. Looks like we're going to making some regs.

It's just about time to move (most of) these plants into the veg tents. Five Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer (F), four Purple Frost Giant Super Grape (F), and six Bubbleberry regs, which are MFMMFF from left to right in the front row. Here's 30 days in two minutes.

I've fallen way behind on updates here. These are the 3rd stringers from this run. I had a tent open after taking a break, so I figured what the hell. At the end of the seedling phase, these were less than half the size of the rockstars who are currently making babies in the 2x4. Three other pretty-good ones are flowering in another 4x4. These dipshits are 5 weeks into veg and are finally starting to look like they want to be there. Oh, and it's also three strains in a tent, so if that goes sideways, I have no one to blame but myself. Purple Frost Giant Super Grape and two Cherry Atomic Sledgehammers from WTTGT, and Bubbleberry from Riot Seeds. (edited)

Hey bro looks great wish I had the space to do some cross breeding, I wanted to breed my freakshows with chocolope but they both popped out females...
How has the breeding been going?
Also i like your pots, do you notice much of a benefit using those over that fabric ones, I was looking at them before I bought in to all ac infinity gear...
Also I can't tell in the picture are you using multiple drippers in each pot or a ring dripper?

Thanks for stopping by. I'm just getting started with the pollen chucking. There are balls on the boy in my seed tent, but they're still small. We'll see. The Air-pots are a nice compromise between fabric and plastic. Really easy to transplant from, which has always been my main issue with fabric. Very easy to clean, too. The drippers are Blumats. One three-inch carrot in each 2-gallon pot. I have drip rings for them, and will install those when I'm sure I have the carrots set correctly.

What strains are you breeding or trying to cross? I've never intentionally grown a male, triggered a hermi on my first and last grow that was... Interesting.
are you worried at all about cross contamination from your clothing or something going from tent to tent?
That's a good point on the pot transfer issue I hadn't considered but totally makes sense thankfully mine are already in there forever homes
Those blue mats are interesting surprisingly it's the first I've come across them, puts my cheap little drippers and rig to shame makes me want to turf the lot out now and order a bunch of them OJ.. but I will deffo be upgrading to a similar config to yours on my next one

The male is a Bubbleberry from Riot Seeds. The ladies in the tent are Purple Frost Giant and Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer from WTTGT, and another BB. Should be some fruit in the offspring. I'm not super worried about pollen from the seed tent making it into one of my other flower tents. I expect I'll get a few extra seeds. I'm OK with it. I'm trying to make seeds, after all.

Nothing wrong with drippers and pumps. Pretty simple and they get the job done.

Oooh boy some blurple frost giant would be funky or a little cherry bubble atomic can't say I've tried any of those strains but they sound proper naughty
Are you hoping to stabilise a genome for selling or is it purely for fun?
Yeah my irrigation should be fine, I want to get some of the ring drippers but there shockingly expensive when your looking for 36, the issue I'm begging to realise is single spot watering but I have a theory that this will slow down or not encourage horizontal growth and will make the plant focus more on single stem vertical growth, is there any basis for this effect of have any of you experienced such?

At this point, I'm just chucking pollen to make some seeds. First time I've done it. The rest is all TBD.

The number one watering-related thing that will inhibit branching is over-watering, meaning the roots don't get enough air because the media holds onto water and gets watered too frequently. What you're asking about is how well a point dripper saturates a three-dimensional pot. That's going to depend on the wicking properties of the media.
