Heyy Fellow Growers
So, I need some advice regarding my indoor grow.

I am currently running one of those Blurple lights purchased from amazon which was advertised as a 1000w LED however I know that it is definitely not the correct power draw & my concern is poor quality bud & poor yield when it is time for Bloom.
My plan is to either swap the current Blurple light out for a reputable brand Full Spectrum White LED OR run both the Blurple & White LED when I am ready to flip. Would this be safe to do without causing any light burn etc?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

changing type of light during the growcycle shouldn't harm

tho i use my spiderfarmer sf2000 200W light at recomended height from the manufacturer without issue, and the ppfd measurements i made were rather similar with the par map from the store page

but what gmix said about light distance recommendations apply more to bigger panel, watt/sq ft watt/m² tend to upscale a litlle with each larger model

and i would just switch to a reputable full spectrum led brand many people use.

Yeah just a few recommend silly heights like 12ā€ away. I’ll bear in mind in future not all do

past flowering stretch i always use my 200W light 100% more or less 13,7'' aways from most plants tops, sometime some pheno even closer ... never had any major or signifiant issue because of that.

when I saw 13ā€ I was like 😮
Then I think back to when I was only using a 200w

What sticks is you couldn’t run a hps that close

atm I have 2x400w so like you say once you go up in size it makes a difference

Hold up re reading your saying you want add a white full spectrum ā€œ white ā€œ led

It should be full spectrum not white
Unless I misunderstood
Sorry that was my bad, I meant LED Full Spectrum + 660nm Red Light
