I know what how I caused this but I've never see it before.



The entire plant looks like that. All the hairs are on the top







Look a tall that bud!
Auto Flower ain't got shit on this. :)

An unfortunate result of having LED's too close to canopy, and/or set too high on output during late flower. At about wk6 of flower, try dimming your LED's so that you have less than 600ppfd at the top of your colas. You might sacrifice a small yield%, but it should stop any major foxtailing.

You're not totally wrong that it's stress caused but the source might not be correct. The plant is the lowest and furthest from the lights.

I was lazy for a couple weeks and did not defoliate at all. So 3-4 weeks into the flower I went a little heavy when removing low yield bud sites from that plant. This is the result of that stress.
