A freind turned me on to this book. View attachment 625425It's simple and easy. I work in construction, hot tar roofer. I was pushing 250 when I got it. It helped drop 50 pounds and I feel great. All natural. Just can't stop drinking beer though.

25 years tar roofing. Taken a toll on the body. Met a wonderful wife. She takes care of me. She's old school style lady, I'm very blessed. Married 16 years now. Very happy. We just need to escape the city go back to our roots in the country. Everything here has grown around us and not for the better with the population growth. Discouraging to see the fields, farms, forests here turned to housing projects malls and roads. But that's progress I guess.

I personally make a large protein shake in milk every morning

I use orgain brand plant based organic protein chocolate flavor mixed with 4tbsp of pbfit brand organic powdered peanut butter in milk for extra protein.

It comes out like chocolate peanut butter and is the best tasting protein shake I've ever had with no sugars or wierd additives.

Your body raises it's metabolism to process protein since it is hard to process. This in turn gives me lots of energy in the morning and Wakes me up. And I don't drink coffee ever so I'm a slow riser otherwise.

I eat a high protein diet, Greek yogurts, eggs, milk, cheese (love goat cheese!), lots of meat tuna, beef, chicken, turkey.

Studies I've read say a high protein (%30+), low carb diet gets your body to burn fat that is eaten or stored to be turned into glucagon for energy. Leading to lean physique or helping people lose weight.

I don't drink soda, coffee, I don't drink alcohol, never smoked cigarettes, no energy drinks.

And the only time I start to lose energy is after a long and very hard day of work burning between 3,000-5,000 calories (depending on the workload that day)

I stopped wearing my fit bit after months of noticing I burned too many calories and didn't eat enough.
As you can see being painter is very physical by the daily log of calories burned when I did wear it.

This fit bit was the charge hr with 24hr heart rate monitoring.

So it wasn't just counting steps and guessing activity level like most were/are. It was monitoring heart activity along with steps taken, altitude changes (climbing stairs or walking/running up hills etc). And was very effective. It also helps you track your caloric intake through the day with the large food database.

I know because when I ate the amount of calories burned each day I never gained weight from day to day. But if I didn't I'd lose weight from day To day.

I'm rambling. I'm a high energy person you could literally even say hyper-active . The years of being fed amphetamine as a kid to 18yrs old for adhd. It stimulates adrenal function relaxing smooth muscles allowing for higher blood flow to them. I could run a 6 minute mile all through high school lol.

So I stopped taking those things when I was 18 (I never wanted them) or 13 years ago. But all that body conditioning left me as a very high energy individual.

no chemicals for assistance through the day. My body mostly needs a large caloric intake of real food to last me through and high protein to rebuild all the broken down muscles and parts from stress. And that is the hardest part.

Eating that much food in a day is difficult. I don't know how America gets so fat. Because I physically can't seem to stuff 4,000-5700+ calories a day down my throught. So I end up tired in the evening's.

Just try To eat healthy foods in the right portions for your diet (carbs/fat/protein).

If you burn a lot of energy carbs help. But fat is a much more dense energy source so I like a high protein high fat/low carb diet. It helps me reduce risk of diabetes and such staying away from too many carbs/sugars.

But if you eat processed carbs and sugar. If you eat them while being super active. That way they soak into your blood quickly for fast energy during your activity time. Instead of turned into fat while sitting on the couch.

I'm active enough to keep my risk of heart disease low. I'm 6'2" 170lbs and very lean. I've have had a hard time trying to break 175 my whole life since high school. I tend to average 165-175lbs.

Be healthy people get lots of exercise and eat right. You then won't need chemical dependence for anything other than recreation ;)
