This is my first time using cloth grow bags, I had a couple on vivosun auto-watering bases and was quite happy with the way that all worked but now I pulled one, and soon the other, plant. These two plants got RO water exclusively and this particular plant used a lot of it. I emptied the bag, soaked it in water in a bucket, let it dry out and then used a scrub brush to knock off a lot of the scaly build up. It looks a lot better and is probably ok to use again but I'm wondering what methods others may be using to clean these things up; throw it in the washing machine, use a special cleaner to spray/soak it, etc.?

I’ve been using the same bags for four or five years! Outdoors! I just fill up a 50 gallon garbage can full of water, throw some bags in and leave them submerged for 24 hours! Stirring with a big stick every once in a while or sticking my arm in! Pull them out and let them dry and throw some dirt in them! Probably doesn’t do Jack! But makes me feel better! I think they are machine washable also!

Rt in the washer.
If you don't have a work washer ( live stock blankets, bandages, towels etc...).

Bring them to the laundry mat.
Vinegar and baking soda...
