If you got some actual experience with picking up and growing clones from any of these outlets please reply and let us know!
Let's keep it about the product and post factual. This is supposed to be a helpful and positive guide for growers in the los angeles area obtain and grow their own quality genetics. Suggestions from commercial growers are welcome but this is about quality not weight. <3 ♡

What strains did you get?

What condition did they arrive in?

Did they turn out as advertised?

How was the end product?

Let's try to keep the replies about recent clone adoptions and raising. It is 2015 lets keep it current. What they had years ago doesn't help anyone now unless you are going to provide some sort of independent assistant on your own. ;)

I'm break the ice since everyone is a little shy.

@GrowGod This thread is for talking about the topic of clones around LA. The other thread has long been off topic and OP was never answered. I'd like to help others gather facts instead of hearsay.

December 2014 i was directed to try all star clones. I was waiting for a lavender & blueberry cut that was previous advertised on their site. No luck on that but i decided to grab a couple of what they had on hand. Instead.

What strains did you get?
Bubba Kush & GSC Forum Cut

What condition did they arrive in?
Bubba was happy and a little on the larger size and came in a cube in a paper bag. GSC FC was a lil smaller same set up. Roots visible outside of the cubes of both strains.

Did they turn out as advertised?
Bubba may or may not be true legit Bubba. I think their are only a handful of people on earth that would really know. Seemed to be "clonse enough" lolol. The GSC fc seemed pretty delicate and a slow grower. Decided to shelf her and never ran her to flower.

How was the end product?
Bubba seemed dank. Would not place it as a true top shelf or AAA+++ but above average potency and average to above average yield.

GSC fc was culled because it was eatting up real estate and not performing.

Thank you again for linking me a thread with all those words in the title but unfortunately that thread has very little to do with that I'm looking to do (report actual experiences ).

It would be really great if you would share your own recent experience or else I would suspect you have nothing to offer regarding the topic in the first post. if you wish to raise your post counts I would ask you do so elseware.

My own recent experience with clones.... I walk down to the basement and snip off the 20 + mothers I have. Disease pest and mildew free!

Best way to do it in LA if you get a clone is to recut it and clone it again because it probably has root aphids. Then keep it quarantined after you dip it in miticide and eagle20 to kill the spiders and PM on the leaves.

Thing is most commercially available clones come from "clone factories" with little quality control. Then they get to the shop and get manhandled by who knows how many people before they get to you.

Like this idea the best if you're going to pick up clones. With one exception I would't use or consume anything that the Eagle 20 touched, don't even think it is legal in Cali but i've been wrong before. Just my personal opinion, when it comes to putting things in my body I try to error on the side of caution.

@slap14 have you ever bought a bag from a dispensery? If you have there's like a 99% chance the buds were treated with eagle 20 at some point.:) I seen it sprayed on medicine 2 weeks into flower.

Picked up clones from Greenland, all miss labeled, some hermies ( could have been my fault) clean and free of bugs. Not a huge selection and you could get the same thing I bought, ie not what you payed for.

Los Angeles clones has a big selection but I will wait maybe. I may never need clones from a shop again soon soooo....

Let us know, too much work for me right now.

Too bad the only person I knew that has been growing for many years was busted about a year ago on Christmas Eve. Went by Nando, sold his own strain he called cloud9 and one called Nandoja.... Miss the blue cheese he used to turn out bad :( known the guy only a couple years before, he was moving my mucks along with pretty much else you can think of.... At first I thought it was just his herb and my mucks but we got a text of his menu like once a week for 8 months and a few time he had E and Yay and gold caps in his list..... 'Twas only a matter of time before that train came to a halt...

Fuckin cops came to my pad askin ?'s about shit, told em it christmas why else would I be hitting up a friend all day when he isn't answering.... They said they had "texts" I wanted to see these and he stumbled around my next few questions and left. I got worried and dumped all my gear, cleaned house, over a year later no one knows and it seem no one cares what happened to him.

I thought he had a med card, turns out he may have been an illegal, great cat who didn't deserve to go down like that, no matter if it was his menu or whatever the fuck. Regardless, I went legit right after and can't find anything worthy for me yet.

I also don't see the same genetics I would have liked to start with. Juicy fruit, vanilla OG, Blue DOT, real GDP from 06, and maybe some lions piss or Hawiian snow.... Wtf happened, what's so great about GSC and every fuckin name OG you can think of
