Clones die after transplanting into coco

My clones have been dying about a week after I transplant them into coco coir pots.

Already lost like 8 clones, i am doing something wrong and i don't know what.

They are under a 250w MH Lamp, 18h light cycle

After some days after transplanting the clones into pots, the leaves start getting yellow then they crisp up and die.

As the leafs were getting yellow i thought this is a nitrogen deficiency. So I fed them a light solution of 1/4 of the recommended dose.
Now they looked burned after I fed them.
I'm not sure if it's really nutrient burn or if it's just some symptom because the plant is dying from something else.

I have tried transplanting to big pots and small ones and the ones in the big pots take longer to die..

I have some plants that have survived and are growing nice but most of my clones still keep dying.

If you provide more info on your environment, watering schedule and nutrient program it will b easy for peeps here help you and solve the problem!

I am using RO water and I water once a day. Nutrients are GH 3 part nutrients and i add calmag to it.

One day I feed only water with calmag and the next day I feed water with nutrients and calmag.

PH is allways between 5.8 and 6.2

I don't have a thermometer in the room yet but already ordered it..

Tell me if there is something missing that I should tell

Are you following the instructions on the bottle for nutrient dosing?

Not really, I'm giving less than what they say because I don't want to burn the plants and wanted to see how they react first

They certainly looked burnt/dried-up. If you are giving them plenty of water, then I would look at room temperature and humidity. Something like 70F and 50% or more humidity is probably good for your current needs. I don't know anything about MH lights, but maybe move that light up as high as it will go too?

your soil could be too hot. Did you do a slurry test before transplanting? That’s always a good idea. Also, make sure soil and water pH is on point like and always acclimate your clones. They are going from close to 100% humidity to your room so if your humidity in your room is lower than 60% you can shock them. Keep humidity high when starting them out. Some strains are more resistant than others. A little B vitamins help with transplant shock as well as a little aspirin. No joke, I get the bayer non coated and use an old coffee grinder and use 50 pills per 100 gal so like .5 pills per gal. If you can find liquid Salicylic acid even better. Check your soil first though(look up soil slurry test) and get your pH/ppm numbers. Looks like they got fried from over feeding nutes or improper pH. 5.7-6.5 are good numbers and about no more than 8-900ppm. Get some Herculean harvest for flushing. It’s liquid bone meal and works awesome for tying up salts And buffering the root zone pH.

Also, ditch the RO unit. It strips out too much alkalinity and all the minerals from the water. I used to run RO and had all kinds of deficiencies. I use a hydro logic small boy with a KDF 85 carbon filter and I have WAY less issues. For now, get the Herculean harvest and flush with phd water for next 2-3 waterings.

I now this is a necro, but it's your RH... moving out of the dome to a lower RH will do this, I learned this the hard way. While sometimes they will recover, it will take a few days of no growth. You can also try to put a humidity dome over the ones that are really bad. Either way, best to slowly reduce RH in the dome before transplanting.
