Just thought I’d get some opinions. I’m in the middle of week 5 of flower. White widow photoperiod, fox farms soil and nute trio, MH SP250, cloudline t6.
So I know that we gauge the maturity of the flower based on trichomes, cloudy vs clear and amber. But when I look at my week 5 WW they all seem very cloudy. So i guess I’m just looking for more information than just “are they clear or not”, because no they are not clear they seem cloudy, but they are also weeks from finishing. Thanks for your feedback!
ps I know it’s super crowded in the tent, this is my first photoperiod run and they bushed out fast and got away from me :)
You also go by if it's still getting bigger and sucking up water and the overall look of the plant, i.e. are most of the pistils alive, is it still growing new pistils, does it look like fall leaf colors etc.
Your looks behind mine.
I've been flushing 4 days with PH balanced filtered water.
Also turned lights down to 50%.
9 weeks today I'm at.
Yours looking great though

Thanks, hopefully mine will go a bit more milky over the coming days, have another load on veg that i need to flip.
No its a gelato #42. I'd change a lot of things about my grow. Like clearing out smaller branches. Its too crowded. Focusing more on the main colas. But I'm happy with howcits gone. I think the picture makes them look a bit bigger than they are
Lol I wish they were that thick. They are decent enough though, so I'm happy.
The plants are only about 3ft tall. Which means all the colas get light.
I started the grow with a 600w HPS but realised that I wasn't getting much growth out wide. 1.2m tent. It was flourishing under the bulb. So I bought a LED that covered the whole area. I didn't want to waste the 10 weeks id spent building an even canopy.
This next grow im just going to top them twice should get about 8 decent heads per plant with some LST. Thats enough for me.
This grow had about 50 heads a plant. Was a nightmare to maintain and many heads have been lost/wasted underneath.
