Hi,

I’ve been using Cannna coco nutrients for years and always have healthy plants to the end. However, I’m looking to improve quality and am trying to determine if I need to reduce nitrogen in the flower cycle to prevent chlorophyll levels getting too high.

Canna coco doesn’t have separate grow & bloom elements, so I’m guessing the N is higher than bloom specific coco nutrients. I’m thinking I might get better quality (less chlorophyll) going with a bloom specific coco nutrient.

Am I right with this, or am I barking up the wrong tree & should just carry on with Canna?

cheers.

I'm not a Hawthorne apologist, but CocoTek is a solid line start to finish. It's higher calcium and magnesium to buffer the CEC in the coco. It has less potassium because the coco already comes with a charge. As far as N, they've already done the math in the feed chart for you.
