they sell a small plug in Co2 machine that cost about as much as a Coleman stove $90 I think and that would be perfect for your size hut, they have them at my hydro shop but I forget the name of them, check and see what you can find for small 120v plug ins

Yes it will work position it securely above the grow and let a small fan waft CO2 over the garden. Be ever careful of fire! I did this waaaay back in da day! Peace! Bad...

Just picked up one co2 boost bucket and pump off eBay for $109, Thanks guys, I'd seen these before, they just slipped my mind today....
Peace Fox

Let us know how it works! I am curious into getting one too!

:character0180:

I'll save some time for ya, they do work! But average the cost of re-filling vs expense of a tank or generator in the long run they (tanks/generators) win, but smaller grows benefit greatly from using the bucket.
I mentioned using the Coleman type stove as during winter as heat may be needed or used. I should have added, in a bedroom or closet near sleeping areas I wouldn't advise using it as CO2 buildup could pose health issues!! Peace! Bad...:cool0044: PS: Dry ice placed in a can over the grow works too but also is more costly.

lol what up fox , i never thought i would see u on here posting haha

hey fox,i used the bucket b4,thought i told u and sensi about it...they are expensive to fill..the next time i am going to get a tank and run it:icon_animal26:

You can use a coleman stove or lantern to make CO2.
I have used regular sized kerosene heaters to make CO2 and
it worked great but also made too much heat even in the winter time.
So I knew I needed a smaller one. A coleman lantern might just be the right sized
and also much less ventilation issues but still be careful. I always had a quality carbon monoxide detector just in case.

The CO2boost mentioned above is completely different. Its some kind of fungal culture that gives off CO2 as its growing.

Here's the cheapest one with pump I have found:

Hi Foxfarmfreak,

I was looking at that CO2 Boost Bucket and thinking of my Stand-Alone 5gal DWC Bucket. I put 1 and 1 together and came up with "3". That wasn't right so I double checked and it turns out "2" was the correct answer. Anyway...

How strong is the pump on that CO2 Boost Bucket? Is it strong enough to put a couple of air stones on it and get good output? I wonder if this would work as the primary pump for a Non-Recirculating-DWC Bucket...?

Do you think that this would pump out too much CO2? Would need more than one bucket for a complete cycle but...

Interesting

I am very interested in your purchase of a CO2 BUCKET. I have been wondering about those for years now. Please let us know if you notice any difference in growth.

Also, do you think adding more buckets (say 1 per 4x4 tray) would increase total co2 in the room more than just one bucket would? $109 really isn't too much to spend if the things work.

Will you need to turn off your outake fans when using this?
