Compost Tea?

Hi! I am experiencing minor nutrient burn. Im in the 6th week and waiting for my plants to get tall enough to switch over to 12. Im targetting the switch in 2 weeks from yesterday. A buddy suggested that since itll be 2 weeks to just mix in compost tea with my water to recycle nutes already in the soil and kind of flush the plant of any residuals before i start feeding them bloom nutes. Is this a good idea? I feel like it could be but want to make sure
