I've got a few clones going. I'm keeping them in small pots - about 1', and I'm planning on toping to limit the vertical growth a little. What more can I do to keep these from taking up too much space?
I've got them in soil. Coco loco for now. They've got their own room. It's small - about 36x36x77. I put in a shelf about counter height they sit on. I've got 4 in there for now. I plan on having 2 or 3 most of the time, plus cuttings to go into the flower room.
The cloning process has been relatively smooth. 100% success rate.

Keep the light and food moderate, and don't transplant to bigger pots. Fabric containers let the roots air prune and keep the plant from circling the pot which allows for a healthier root ball.

The plastic ones you're using will eventually require you to re-pot and do some root pruning. At that point I would switch to 2gal fabric. You can keep Mom's in them for a long time. Usually by the time they get unhappy you've taken enough cuts off them to start 5 more mothers anyway.

Then Mom goes into the flower tent and the process begins again!

These are the 1st clones. I put the original mothers into the flowering room. Maybe I'll continue that for now.
