Cnt believe my last post was nearly a month ago. And it's been a busy old month too.

So an update is in order. I've got some real good news
First, sexd blue suede ribbon one girl one boy. Boy was destroyed, girl potted up. I'll b doing a separate journal for the BSR so I wnt b mentioning her in the rest of this journal.

Now to the main show. I've got 9 Cookies and cream left. I've sexed 3 and the remaining 6 I'm 90% sure we have females. So out of a 11pk. i Broke one. And One was a runt. If the remaining are definitely girls that's some outstanding luck!!!

Now comes the cuttings. All of them are ready to take from bar 1 so I'll b on that tonight. i want to get some flowers asap so I can find the keeper.
I'll post up some pics later tonight and start the new BSR thread too.

Then their were 3.
(Man was I real wrong...still)
The last 5 started to exhibit male tendencies. They were axed. It's a shame one or to really had a nice smell. And I bet they would have made some nice crosses. Still this is a pheno hunt so to speak not a breeding project. But one day defo I got what I wanted tho. No more than 4. So 3 is perfect for me.

Anyway some pics

This is number 1 confirmed female .

Number 2. Confirmed female.

Number 5. Confirmed female

Number 5s hairs. (Please excuse bad pics. Bastard to focus on them hairs)

So not looking too bad. Plenty of cutting material to take. Still haven't got round to the cuts yet. A few probs with space. But that will change tomorrow,when I will take the cuts. ladies 1 and 2 are quite short stocky plants where as number 5 is tall. Number 2 has got those double serrated leaves like number 5 has. And all have got a quite smell when rubbed. 1 and 2 are deep earthy and 5 is a bit zingy fresher...
Fun times.
Now we can move on the next stage.
I'll be taking cuts and striking them in super small coir cells I make up. And placed in the heated propagator. They should take in about a week. Was guna make a dwc cloner but decided against as I have around 95% success with my method and they take about 5 to 7 days normally. So it ain't broke why fix it?!?
Anyway starting to get somewhere now. Still a ways Togo.

Evening.

So fist out the gates for the Cookies and cremè is #5. Took 4. 3 have struck the last was a bit slow. I've potted them on.
A real real light feed of Genesis micro and grow. Plus a tiny bit of root stim too.

3x#5 rooted. I'm happy with that and as soon as they get going and are settled I'll flower the seed of cnc#5.

Your babies look great, Xeno. Cookies & Cream is one of my favourite strains. The girl I got a couple years ago has fabulous structure - she's super strong and only needs support to keep her upright (as opposed to flopping everywhere like some do). And she's so super frosty that there's always plenty of material to use for oils, etc. The smell is delicious!! My only complaint is she's not quite gender stable... there's always a sneaky banana cluster hiding in there somewhere. Obviously there's not enough to warrant killing her off, but I love the strain so much that I've started some seedlings myself, in hopes of finding a more stable girl. Anyway, here's mine at 6 weeks along. (Sorry about the bad photo.) Best of luck with your babies!

Thanks for the info too. I'm used to growing fems, so hopefully that will help me. I keep a stable grow environment so hopefully that will b help too. dunno.
Anyhow that's not good in any case I'll keep an eye out.

I'm glad to here shes good for oil as I do like abit of concentrate and hash.
I'll be flowering #5 on the weekend. Can't wait.

Afternoon.
So after having rooted the cuts of cnc#5. She's been moved to the 11/13 room to flower.
The flower tent is a black orchid 1x1x2 it has 2 LEDs. One panel is grownorthens ms004 180w panel and the other is 270w apollo panel. Black orchid 4inch extraction. 2 6inch fans and medium sized humidifier.

Nutrients are genesis micro and bloom. Calmag and silicon supplements,and advance nutes bud candy.

On to Cutts.
Cnc#1 we got one cut that has rooted. The rest went far off from firing some roots but at two weeks I don't want to wait any longer.

Cnc#2 we also got one real healthy looking rooted cut.

Not to bad.
Once they have settled and are happy I'll flower the other two.

So we are on the path now. Hopefully to something special. Happy Sunday.

Ps thoughtd I would just chuck up a few grabs from my current grow.

Just chopped Dna/rare dankness "elite strain" Tangie Ghost Train Haze.

(Alittle nug)

Terps are off the scale. Orange pinapple petroleum. Fumes seem to penetrate everything when u touch her. So much resin that if u put it in paper bags to dry it cakes it with oil and u see it leak through the bag.! Serious...!

And my personal fav Soma sacred seeds Amnesia Haze. The proper 12/13 weeker.

Smells like how he describes. Totally exotic with hints of some ting sweet. it reminds me of the smell in Amsterdam cafes when u first walk in. That cocktail of fragrances and tastes and smell in the air. Just like that. refesher sweets is something my friend says it's smells of. I find it hard to describe. But if you've smoked ammo ull know that classic small and taste.
Enough of my nonsense.

Yes mate. The tangie ghost train is a fem seed, had her nearly 3yrs nw. And the soma am haze is too. Had her for nearly 6 now.

Nice find! I'm on the hunt for something close to ammo or ammo haze from seed, wonder if soma stock still good

I can't rate it highly enough chap. I mean u do pay a lot for regs pack and even fem packs come in around the £100 mark. Still he produces quality and it mos Def shows in the final product. It's well worth it, and she's a heavy heavy cropper too.

Happy Sunday yall.
Straight to it. Cookies and cream no5 is on her way. About a week deep and progressing nicely.
On around 1.4ec feeding genesis purple and green with silicon calmag and bud candy as additives. Ph'd to 6.3. Under 11hrs of Led and 13 off. She's in canna coco pro.

Not too bad.
The Cutts from cnc number 1 and 2 are happy and I've secured the line. So I will flower these and the end of the week.

They both are quite similar in their apperence with #1 smelling a little bit sweeter and deeper than #2

To distinctive phenotypes the one in flower at the moment is taller and less dense. These two being the exact opposite. Short and stocky. Phewww...next step then.

We on the right track I think. Here's to a smooth journey.
