When you smoke cannabis, the THC or tetrahydrocannabinol in the stuff attaches itself to the receptors in your saliva glands, which in turn results in a disruption in signaling between these receptors and the submandibular glands (via Corson Dentistry). The submandibular glands are responsible for producing saliva in your mouth. When communication is obstructed, less saliva is produced, and this is what leads to a dry mouth when smoking weed.

I have not gotten the munchies or cottonmouth in years. I think if you do it long enough that just kind of stops.

Indeed also depends on the cultivar. I can confirm that even with a long break from smoking, some strains don't give me cotton mouth at all.

Just some random strain on leafly:

Some strains will list dry mouth under negatives also. Your post makes sense but I guess it really depends on the strain also. So the statement isn't wrong at all. Perhaps the scientist took a strain that was known for giving cotton mouth and then went ahead to find out why...

JUst saying there are many cannabinoids and thc is not the one that gives cotton mouth because every strain has thc

Yea its definitely an obscure terp, cannaboid, flavanoid, whatever. But def not THC, certain strains give you cotton mouth and most don't. Same with munchies, I beleive it's THC-V that affects appetite, not sure if it suppresses or enhances can't remember

Keep in mind also that even thc of different strains consists of a different molecule setup. So even thc differs from strain to strain.

Or if you would like to word it in a more fancy way: THC found in different cannabis strains can vary in molecular makeup. The specific molecules and their proportions may differ slightly from strain to strain, which can contribute to the unique effects and experiences associated with each one.

What do you think? Does the number of chromosomes affect the stuffing? And how might it manifest itself? I know there is a huge difference between regular and remontant strawberries, but for some reason it positively affects marketability rather than flavor. Does this analogy hold true for cannabis?

Maybe I got it wrong though... I'm not deeply enough into science, so I might mix up the terms... If I got it right, then thc itself is already a molecule but the sequence of its molecular components can vary slightly - that should be more precise.

Very good question! That is beyond my understanding of biology/chemistry... I'm just a humble farmer lol. But I think you are on to something here, so that could indeed be true...

Очень хороший вопрос! Это выходит за рамки моего понимания биологии/химии... Я всего лишь скромный фермер, лол. Но я думаю, что вы здесь на верном пути, так что это действительно может быть правдой...

If we knew)))), but I'm trying to get as much information as I can, and here's what I've noticed: automatic flowers don't cause headaches.

Yes brother! I also collect information like a sponge until my brain goes . I never had auto flowers so far, but there are some things to consider of course... still a good option for some, especially outdoors. I only had regular seeds and now feminized seeds. Wish I could only do regular but we can only have 3 plants per person here, so that would mean to throw away healthy plants in the worst case...

We may have 19 roots, but if only without flowers and leaves)))) it's hard to understand, even harder to participate.

This is quite different, administrative liability turns into criminal liability. Simply put, it's forbidden

They say it's best not to even send a photo to Telegram. Many people grow it, if you are quiet and don't tell anyone))) you can, but be careful, the main thing is to smoke it quickly
