As for my water system, its the 16 hoses that drove me nuts... I had to slow down my pump with that ball valve a bunch...I am not sure why you are getting 50% runoff
I use the same pots and only get about 10% runoff
I say if you are getting that much then you could have used the ball valve to slow the pressure giving you less per minute
