Im not saying it dont have something to think about but any punk that wants 500 for a bookSchwazzing relates to indoor grows. The only thing I want are those magic times to defol not to expect too much
U got to realize that most of that doesn't even apply to you.Ok I just read up on lollipopping and that sounds more like my way. I tried the scwazzing defol method on my flowering plant and it turned to shit. Is this really so controversial still? I read that the lower fan leaves are power house energy source for plants.
The right light in the right spectrum.U got to realize that most of that doesn't even apply to you.
You could do everything you wanted,
but intil you upgrade your lights,
it wont matter.
The one thing that could net you more yield is light!
Agreed bro......You can have all the best techniques and the best environment and shwazz n defoliate and lollipop till your hearts content with all the top shelf nutes with ed rosenthals blessing and jorges grow bible, but if your not hitting it with DLI & PPFD and a good spectrum with your lighting you will always be disappointed.U got to realize that most of that doesn't even apply to you.

for sure! If he upgrades that led next run, then he can start worrying about other factors..Agreed bro......You can have all the best techniques and the best environment and shwazz n defoliate and lollipop till your hearts content with all the top shelf nutes with ed rosenthals blessing and jorges grow bible, but if your not hitting it with DLI & PPFD and a good spectrum with your lighting you will always be disappointed.
Will I need two fans or just attach my 6 in. duct fan and ducting? It's one of those 20 dollar range ones, not the other. What would be the true wattage of the hps?defol on day 14
also........For a reall small scale grow
a 400w hps sealed reflector and a 6" fan and filter and away you go
I can walk you tgrough a 3/4 lb grow off a 400w's
there are awesome leds but for a 400w setup we are talking a fraction of the cost of a badass led
Because the plant, throughout its evolution, has grown a need for those lower, puny bud sites possibly as an insect deterrent. Best guess.then you can open a whole can o worms when it comes to defoliating as well. Most gardeners will say pruning promotes more growth. I agree to a point as with definite and indefinite plants. With a plant that goes for repeat seasons yea pruning is a great thing to promote growth and help you shape a bush, but at times I often wonder with cannabais being a 1 season wonder and the leaves being the solar panels and driver of photosynthesis isnt it counterproductive to take away the energy makers during a time when your close to flipping and the plant going into flower is at it peak of energy demands to create buds n flowers.
I will close with this, we all agree momma nature knows better than man correct???? Well I hold that thought anyway. :) So with that said ask yourself this, if momma nature knows best, then why would she thru all the dna in a plants genetics place fan leaves and such in a position that do the "unthinkable", shade those precious buds. The plants life from seed to harvest is predetermined thru the seeds dna/genetics.
If the plant has big ole fat bubba style shade leaves that shade the buds, then to my mind everyone of those leaves is needed to bring the plant to its full genetic potential, right?? Otherwise, why the hell would they be there????? Sorry didnt mean to go down the rabbit hole. Just the sort of stuff I think about...... Drives me batty and my wife battier. :D
Correct bro. The last thing you want to do is stress the plant in flower. 99 % of all your training and pruning, lollipoppin should be done before flipping to flower. You can get away with some tweaking in flower, but generally try to have it all done during veg. Unless your running scrog and you have to keep tucking after flip to maximize your bud sites. This is the first thing google comes up with for cannabis lollipopping. The article says to stay away from defol during flower. Wtf lol
I agree with you to a point then I hop off the trainthen you can open a whole can o worms when it comes to defoliating as well. Most gardeners will say pruning promotes more growth. This is a really good point and I agree. Mother nature knows what's best...for her.then you can open a whole can o worms when it comes to defoliating as well. It sounds like that means mostly heat then.I would upgrade the fan
400w hps is 400w...true
although.....it is putting out about 150par watts
It's cheap and it has a good spectrum. Vent it and you will hardly notice the heatIt sounds like that means mostly heat then.
