For sure... Ive heard of the hoods but not with a de till now...Haha.. well I didn't see a price either but if I were to air cool a DE bulb (this is why I'm hesitant to cool a cmh bulb) I'd only use this hood.. note how the air never directly cools the bulb because the bulbs are meant to stay at a certain operating temp.

They have similar hoods for the cmh bulbs as well... sunsystem has a nice video on YouTube showing why/how that hood is superior.

Just my opinion..I think it's a big difference that your controller is mounted at the top of your tent above the lights vs mine was literally directly facing the plants.. but yea there are some other small things I'm doing to try to reduce the amount of stress they see.. last time I went directly from 24/0 to 12/12 this time I'm already at 18/6 and then I'm going to flip to flower over a week period reducing the light time by about an hour each day till I hit 12/12..
I mean to be honest I have no idea what caused it, that controller just seems like the most logical thing to blame haha..
