I think I may have seen 1. I looked all over for another and don't think I seen anymore. But the head was defy different that the stem. I need to watch my Temps as I forgot and left the ac full blast. It was freezing. About 61 degrees. They seemed to have gotten frostier. . Maybe them cool temps. Also some blue or purple color in a couple small sugar leaves coming out of the bud. Damn Wish, these buds look fking awesome. Maybe not the biggest. But man I am pretty impressed to call them mine... That runt is Gonna turn out to be the best. How in the fk did that happen.. It will definitely end up having the biggest bud/cola award out of the 3. I think it still has 2 weeks to go...

The Afghanistan must have a more developed root system. And since it's both, it must be just damn good genetics.. Not taking anything away fromm gg.. I'm sure they will catch up. But your right that is interesting. ...

so can you imagine having a shit load of plants about 24" tall with one giant massive cola on each plant...kinda like the huge cola on each of yours....but eliminate the rest of the colas...just having a room packed with fatties....1 per plant...and that is all the plant produces.....that is my goal

well I never expected to fail, but it has went smoother than i expected. You have giving me the fundamentals to learn from here no matter if I never got another lesson or piece of advice. All i know is I love growing and saving 300 a month on meds was the same as getting a $5 hr raise!

and mine too... Because I can tell you right now Wish, my arthritis is not gonna let me manicure a pd of popcorn buds... won't happen :(

I need big colas like you,,, with short plants..
I know,, not what my system was designed to do..

But you get it figured out while i just get better, and i will get all this expensive rdwc nonsense out of my system... You know, after I do it like a boss...

That is all its about for me,,, just accomplishing something I havent..

I am not trying to toot my horn by any means but after comparing my plants with a lot of other newbie first grows,, I am pretty proud of what we did,,, ESP WITH AUTOS. .. I have seen some pretty horrific first grows. Matter fact I read one guys poor post that this was his 3rd time germinating seeds because he had killed all the rest trying to put them in a bucket. I felt bad for the poor fella. I had the feeling that he had prob talked the misses into letting him grow a couple and the poor fella cant even get started.. a few posts into it I think I know why,, no ph or ppm meter. Went to fox farm and think he may be in business now.. I wish him well....

help me weigh the pros and cons here. The red tric was on skunk #1, which is the one farthest along and the tall one. Now the top is about 8 inches from the light and the rest of the canopy of ALL plants is another 12 inches away at 18" to 24" you can see a lot of under developed bud down there. on all plants. I am thinking about harvesting the 1 main cola so I can drop my light to 12 inches off my canopy. Remember this bulb is as cheap as they come. I will do a lot better next grow with my new bulb. I am ac. temps are no problem.. I want the runt to get his fair share of light which he isnt. He is getting the worst. I feel like I would loose way more from the rest of the plants than from taking the tall cola a few days early.

and some....like yourself.....are open to suggestions as well as having a good head on the old shoulders have common sense

I am trying to help a guy on another forum....and he just dosnt get it....and he spent 20k building a badass shed
and his plants look like trash
just dieing in 4" rockwool blocks on a flood table.......he spent 500 on seeds

I like what you have done

well I have only added ro water at top off.. It was 1.1 ec and 6.2 ph so I let it ride like that. All the plants are in diff solutions now. Skunk 1 is in the table. skunk 2 is sitting in a netpot 5 gallon bucket, in about 3 inches of water/ ec 1.4... Trying to stabilize my ph in the bucket. I knew when you didnt recommend doing that it was because it was gonna mess with my ph. But I flushed 5 gal of 1.4 ec thru it first, hoping that would reset my ec/ph in the coco/root zone. I will say that it has frosted up a lot more since that change. and even looks like it has bulked up too.

What??? Wow.. $500 just on seeds! Well for 20k I would of picked something better to use than rockwool slabs.. If I ever use rockwool, it would just be to prove that nasty shit couldnt beat me, then I would throw it out .... Your right,, that was my plan all along. coco to hydro.. and since coco is basicaly hydro,,, it provided me a good foundation. and each step of the way there was something to learn. Run off, ph, ec, light spectrum, nutes and nute company recs(bullshit) bakers math percentages, and on and on.... So every step was needed..

Another thing wish I think, is that they think they can just order some seeds and in 60 days they will have 10 pds of the finest dro to ever be seen. Then you got others that think that the reason those buds look like that is because there is some secret nutrient out there and if they can just find out what it is, they will be master growers. lol,, sad but i read it all the time. I actually got more respect for the little cfl grow that is just using the space he has, with what he has to work with. When he does good, its a win win for everybody..
