kinda....in bloom you dont want to see dark green.....you want to see the plant get progressively lighter until fadeI tell you the other thing I need to understand is mixing nutes and additives like kool bloom. When ever you add something like that you have to take it in to account when deciding your basic nute mix. Using to much kool bloom could throw ratios off right?
Here is where I am going with this. if I notice in flower that i am really good and dark green then I know that I could get away with adding a ml of kool bloom, which will change the ratio for n, which would be fine since my plants are showing a rich n look. if I start to lighten up, then reduce the kool bloom... In theory? am I on the right path with my thinking?
so trueAnother thing wish I think, is that they think they can just order some seeds and in 60 days they will have 10 pds of the finest dro to ever be seen. Then you got others that think that the reason those buds look like that is because there is some secret nutrient out there and if they can just find out what it is, they will be master growers. lol,, sad but i read it all the time. I actually got more respect for the little cfl grow that is just using the space he has, with what he has to work with. When he does good, its a win win for everybody..
I usually wait till about 25-50% amber.....but really just wait until none are clear....that is the main thing.....clear trichs cause Panic attacksAnd how long after you see amber trics can you safely wait to harvest.
so then I really just want to use this when i flip,, during transition, and then quit and resume normal feed?kinda....in bloom you dont want to see dark green.....you want to see the plant get progressively lighter until fade
for me ....koolbloom is really for bumping P/K just slightly....for more bud sights
and then tou carry on with you feed
Well there is a shit load of them clear still...I usually wait till about 25-50% amber.....but really just wait until none are clear....that is the main thing.....clear trichs cause Panic attacks
And really aint you doing the same thing when you change over from veg nutes to flower nutes?kinda....in bloom you dont want to see dark green.....you want to see the plant get progressively lighter until fade

I wouldnt replace a T-5 with a cheap led@Wisher619 I know you do a lot of research on lights. Seeing that a 4 bulb 4 footer 54 w ho t5 will run $100.. Would a person do just as good buying a cheap 100 led light to use as replacement? And what would be the cheapest model that would replace a 4 bulb t5?
ok,, I just wanted to make sure that money wasn't better spent on a cheap led compared to the t5. just for veg.I wouldnt replace a T-5 with a cheap led
to me a cheap LED is just a waste of money
IMO
any LED worth its weight are usually pretty pricy
T-5 are used by many
no....just chinese garbageis advanced plantinum series any good?

So pheno's are actually characteristics that are diff even with the same strain or genetics. Just a way of describing certain traits only to THAT plant?yup.....super frosty ....super hashy
the tall one smells like a pine forrest/mint
so I know what the flowers will be...have had that pheno before
and the other will probably smell like over ripe guava/cheese
these are 2 of the 3 phenos I have found in this landrace
the other smells like chinese 5spice
all of them are super sticky and
the pine smells smokes like a menthol
the other 2 are smooth and musky..."hashy"
from experience with these seeds
this is gonna be a fun ride....hopefully they are girls
if not.....my cookies is gonna get pollinated
Phenotypes are genetic expressions of different traits in a plant. A strain can have many different phenos or be more stable depending on breeding. Think of it like peoples kids, they could take traits from either parent or bothSo pheno's are actually characteristics that are diff even with the same strain or genetics. I could not bear growing for 1 month with out knowing it was a female unless I had other stuff going at the same time.
So I know I change my mind up a lot but I am really trying to decide exactly how I want to do things... So this isnt in stone, but i am getting closer. Anyway here is where my head is at at the moment...
First, Instead of 9 buckets, I am gonna run 8, 2 rows of 4, in a 4x8 area, evenly spaced. I am gonna just run my open air bat wing hood with my 600 on a light mover. It is gonna be cold down there this winter when( Prob Jan 1st) I flower these 8 girls so I have options.. They will be vegging this whole time. That is 75 days of veg!!!! That requires different thinking.. that is a lot of veg,... But that is a good problem to have! Veging under t5's will make the plants easy to scrog. So 4x8 scrog with 1 600w open air on a light mover. """ the light mover does come with another set of pullys to hang 2 lights. I do have my 600 mh,,, just saying"""" options :)
My photo that has been veging the last 63, gives us an idea what these plants will look like when I put them in the scrog and flip them...
That is what I figured...Phenotypes are genetic expressions of different traits in a plant. A strain can have many different phenos or be more stable depending on breeding. Think of it like peoples kids, they could take traits from either parent or both
