yeah edibles are hard to get consistentMy friends are troopers.. we threw 17g of dried bud in 3/4 cup of oil and cooked her down... Added that to the brownie mix and cut into 15 pcs... we each ate 2 pcs... .. for a few seconds I thought I may have made a mistake. Wow... My plants did slow there feeding to almost nothing...I wouldnt run any light @12" I would run it @18" above canopy
when you switch bulbs and to 12/12 let the plant grow towards the bulb
that guy in the video was running 1200 watts open no cooling
so he had to have it super high
and lowered it to about 18-24" above canopy when all was said and done
anything lower and you can cause light bleaching
as for the bucket and water level
anything that stresses a plant supposedly helps with trichome production
the problem is...you have never ran this plant so you need her to be as comfortable as possible....and as you will see
in late flower she will slow her feeding and drinking so the level probably wont matter much.....as the plant will start to stall out and that is when you know she is done

desired olant heighth also has to do with how tall tou want your canopy to be
if tou want it short .....keep the lamp 18" away and keep the MH in there until the end of week 2 flip.....that will dramatically shorthen canopy as well as space between nodes
then when stretch is over throw in the HPS to enhance flower production
that would be the recipe I would follow

once under hps I let it grow 2 weeks and flip but my plants would be like 8" when they go under hps
just differ growing style
for scrogging you really want your canopy to be short and compact
heavy buds.....lots of tops
not stretchy long buds that you need another screen for

I'm hoping for 12" colas.. 36 sqs... At least this time I will learn about scrog and stretch and postioning for everything to end after stretch as even as possible.. I am gonna learn a lot this time... new things..
And I'm sure there is a next level of growing that I should be studying... Maybe starting off with nutes, and how you decide what veg 7.5/10/2.5. Calimag 2.5....
Now if I change one, it changes everything... I need to learn how them relationships work. How to understand how to tinker to specify certain deficiencies. ..
And last using foliar sprays during veg... and what's the next level of care I could be giving them....

Lights on 82 and 45% rhythm sometimes 35% rh...
Lights off 70 and 60 to 65% rh...
I know it is best to try to keep them close between on and off... You think I am OK with this.... If anything if this was the veg tent I would probably just want to add a Lil humidity... But as this is the flower tent and we are just vegging in it, I probably want to run dehumidifier in tent with lights off...
So each tent needs different and both tents are in same room. I just see them conflicting with each other... too bad I couldn't somehow pull the humidity from lights off flower tent and add it to lights on veg tent...
for meWhen I bought my first tent(4x4) i got it used. When its shut the vacuum reduces it to 3x3.. it has been used and stretched badly.. I am gonna roll with it, thru this grow, and then for Christmas I am gonna trade it out for a new one. As much as I hate the price of gorilla tents, i think i am gonna go with one of them. I like the idea that you can get an 2' extension from 7' to 9'.. My room is 9'... this would allow me in the future to add a gavita to the flowering tent if I so chose. Being able to add that 2' seems like it could be real important one day...
My basement leaks really bad. I didn't know about it or didn't think it was as bad as it was. I can't really build anything upstairs, and I work in the garage way to much with my neighbor always coming over... S I that only leaves my room.. And my daughter comes for the summer so I got to have everything cleaned up and packed up... That's why I'm kinda balls to the wall for the time I got...for me
I would actually just use that money to buy some material and build a custum grow cabinent
2x4's
subfloor sheathing
and 1/4" foam insulation with reflective backing
couple of gate hinges
a door nob or handle and lock
call it a day
but that is just me
