Funny thing about that LA Og is it comes from up North :hi Maybe not so much now, but my understanding is the idea was coined on Northern/imported Og trees. I've heard So Cal has stepped their game up when it comes to the ganga nowadays. without going to off topic, can you give a quick smoke report on the Light of Jah? you said its a great yeilder but i didnt see any comment on its taste, potency, etc. i just want to know if its one of those strains i should put on my wishlist. keep rockin :icon_animal26:

Aside from the williams being off to a little bit of a bumpy start, they are rocking now!

Yeah, the 'foe-gee' DID get a lil more tasty with a longer cure (because buds had high leaf material), it got more 'diesely' in odor and taste after a few weeks of cure. The buds where purplish once done too, really pretty looking… but just not that potent in the end. I'll run it a little longer tho before I decide to drop it or not.

But yeah man, about the Light of jah, I'll tell ya what I know. I've harvested about 6 or so SOG trays (each containing 8-11 plants) so far of LOJ. Its a sativa dom, so it takes 12 weeks, if yer into growing sativa doms. The buds however are massive for a sativa. My lil SOG plants get about 3/4 to 1 oz per plant. When I started the seeds I had 2 phenotypes I ran with. One was short and squat, buds where dense and fruity smelling, kind of a shitty rooter and got mold really easy. The other phenotype was a bit more stretchy and vigorous, it gave a lil more airy buds, but a better rooter… not so bad with mold, and probably a more typical LOJ. Buds are kinda spongy, have a faint odor of something like like juicy fruit, bright lime green, not a lot of leaf material. The bud structure is like white widow (lil fingers). High is a non-paranoid up-sativa high. Very high! It doesn't last a long time, you can get really stoned, and then be straight again in a few hours. There doesn't seem to be a ceiling with it tho. I'm letting the LOJ go for now to grow a indica dom for a 2 week turn around in the perpetual op (now operating in 3 week cycles). One other thing to note, I've heard its the same genetic line-up as Jack, it just turned out different (a lot different).

The Williams are doing great, I just watered them, its been almost 7 days on the dot and all but 2 (out of 16) are showing tap roots. Im a happy camper.

Willies.... that stuff is uber dank! Had some back in 2001. Talk about some paranoia. I didnt want to answer my phone for about half an hour and pulling a tube. And it reaks too!

Haha, awesome! Can't wait to smoke some myself. Ive never been lucky enough to get my hands on any WW. One of the reasons I ordered the beans tho is I have a good friend who says WW is his favorite strain ever, that coupled with the pics I've seen of retarded large colas… I was sold.

A little update on the clones, by day 8 I had a 100% success rate. All are alive, healthy and spraying out roots. They will sit in the clone box until friday, then they will get placed in the flower rooms rotation =)

I'll post som pics soon… just kind of uneventful at the moment.
