What's the best way to save a broken stem?

This plant was abused and revegged, then when I was moving it, I broke a couple buds off.
I used a old dry stem as a splint and taped another broken one....well see if that works.



Its too late for this one...:(

The stem is frayed cause I have been smelling it for an hour.

Edit to add; It's my own cross, o_O Bubba Gold #5 (failed pheno hunt grow.)

except, if you have anxiety make sure its not to premature, premie weed makes my wifey SUPER anxious. but then again, not everybodys the same.

I just looked with the loupe and there aren't a whole lot of trichomes...
Im gonna try to get a macro shot with my wifes camera

I think it was about 4 weeks. Then they started revegging and I was was out of town :(

Hey ken i broke a few stems B4 . I used some cloning gel n a popsicle stick n some string it worked fine,I actually dab my mothers with gel after i take a cutting it seems 2 keep her happy after a few cuts r taken

same thing happens to me. I trimmed off a bud 2 wks to harvest 1wk to harvest and 1wk after harvest, 2wk after harvest to compare. trying to find out what % of clear cloudy amber trichs i like.
the clear trichs on the early harvested herb made my heart race and feel panicked. hadn't felt that way from herb since one of the earlier times of smoking. weird
guess i like more cloudy / amber trichs. nice to be able to have quality control and make your smoke exactly how you like it. i might have smoked some early harvested herb freaked the f)%k out and never tried it again and would be missing out. good thing I'm not a quitter. quitting weed is for losers.

that Bud sat on my desk until a few days ago...lol...I smelled it all day everyday...
Smelled great...but It got too dry and I tossed it. :cool:

No problem though...I am growing more.
