I've recently come back onto the internet growsite scene after a few years forced break and it appears that there are more growers than ever trying their hand at releasing their own seeds. I wouldn't say that everyone is having a go at breeding because IMHO most of what I see appears to be pollen chucking by people in possession of highly sought after clones looking to make a buck which isn't new but it seems to be very widespread right now.
I have also done a fair bit of pollen chucking in my time. I've created a few things, F2'd a few strains for fututre use, worked lines for preservation and inbred existing lines that seem to be harder and harder to find. (my ducksfoot is now at f4 and C99 at f5 for example although C99 is thankfully now easily obtained)
I do it because I love it and because I hope to one day release my work to the public if it's ever of a high enough standard. I figure there has to be plenty of people like my myself who do the same but keep the beans to themselves or their friends. I'd like to know what crosses you have made, crosses you plan to make aswell as any lines you are preserving that are becoming harder to find. Here's a list of some of the things I've done and a few I would like to get done. Please don't be shy, I'd love to see what you are all up to!
