crowded plants in a grow tent

i got a 4x4x7 tent i been having around 7 plants in 3 gallon fabric pots in there and during flower the tent gets crowded
my question would be if i have just 6 plants in the tent and they each have more room although not much more room would that make my yield any better ?

I’m learning too. Started with seven oin a 4x4x7’…. I’m thinking one plant every square 4’ is probably a good guideline.

The 7 plants seem good, maybe with a little defoliation it would help from getting too crowded.

Would it be better to run 4 with 2x2 space each, or run 9 so you have them all equally spaced and flip a bit earlier, 7 seems like an odd number to run but your tent looks great as it is! But maybe if you ran 9 you could save some veg time.

Been there done that. However, for me, I like the extra space. Larger plants but only 4 in a 4 x 4 ... or even a 5 x 5.

and a number like that also appears if you only have those 7 seeds lol

i was just thinking the more open space around each flower the more light gets in . on my last grow i got around 2.5 oz a plant i was just wondering with less plants and more light getting in and around the yeild might be more like 2.75 oz each

i got 3 cheese and 3 white afghan from ganja farmer seeds in the 4x4 now supposed to be photo im gonna let them veg for 8 or 9 weeks and not top them until there tall

this is gonna be good lol i used the same soil from the aculpoca gold grow which was promix premium organice from walmart 12 dolla bales lol with using gaia green all purpose and power bloom been adding some greenleaf kelp extract to the water , there in 1 gallon pots

its ac infinity 4x4 with a 6 inch exuast fan and im happy with the sf4000 i would like a bar light something like @ViparSpectra ks5000 but i will have to settle for what i have
