Hi guys, I'm on day 43 of my grow and running into a little trouble! My babies started out fine in FFHF, transplanted to FFHF/FFOF after 2 weeks. Plants are now 17" tall. Don't really know if autoflowers or not as seeds were giving from a friend. One is suppose to be lemon lime gelato. I've started PH about a week ago to 6.5. They have been in pre flower for 2 weeks now and progress its slower than usual. just started to see an hair oe 2. A few of the higher tops started curling and turning light yellow/greenish. I keep the light 20-22in away from highest top. its been a couple of days still no results. And can i defoliate more?

Looks real good. Probably should flip soon. Clean up the lowest stuff.

Should I flip to 12/12? Im currently running 18/6 on mars hydro TS600. And would raising my lights fix the discoloration, curling and clawing of my tops?

Ok. During flower you can add more light to match the veg DLI. Or keep it as is.

All my autos have shown sex in about 24 days. If you don't know for sure if they are auto I would treat them as photo.

They look good but maybe a bit over watered and that's causing your issues. How often are you watering and when you water how light is your planter? The twisting could be from humidity or the fan blowing on them as well. But the drooping and yellowish I would say is over watering.

I water 1ltr every 2-3 days depending on if soil is dry. There in 10inch pots. I keep they fan just above the canopy where the air could bounce from the walls

Too add there is 2 plants in 10inch pots. Temp stays around 72-75° and humidity 50-55%. I have a fly strip hanging as there have been gnats around the base

Do you know if the soil gets completely saturated when you water? 1 liter doesn't seem like a lot considering the size of the pots, size of the plants and the frequency. I'm not sure how that relates directly to your issues, but if there are dry spots in the soil, it doesn't help.

I second what lex said, you want to water until it's staturated and you are getting 25% runoff for salt buildup. Your temps are a bit cool, try raising them a little to around 80-82f if running LED. What are your night temps? They don't need much to be on the right track, but you want to address stuff when first noticed so it doesn't become a major issue mid flower.

Yes i am running led. I water until i see it drip from the bottom as i cut back from just completely flushing the plant which i thought was over doing it. I do water in a circle motion to insure i cover the entire bottom. Day temps are around 75-77 and night around 72. Im in a colder climate so even the summers can be cool.

Alrighty that's a good night time temp. But if you can get the day temps up a bit, maybe cut back on exhaust and it should raise your temp. I am in Canada so I have the same issues with my LED. I use a heater when it's cold. You definitely want min 15% runoff but 20-25% should be where you are aiming. You just don't want a buildup or salts (nutrients) in your root zone. It can cause major issues mid to late flower. As long as they are dry when you water them it won't hurt. It is a pain in the ass but necessary. Make sure also your water temps are withing a few degrees of your root zone temp as to not shock them. I made that mistake myself and what a difference it made using the same temp water as the root zone.

Overwatering....let the plant dry out to the point it begins to wilt, then water and watch the leaves PRAY...Most of us watch / trend our plants many times a day so you should always be on top of watering WHEN THEY ARE THIRSTY

So I gave them a lil defoliation ( the front plant was turned around). I switched to 12/12 a couple nights ago. Moved the lights up to 21". Since then pistils are starting to appear. I also added an addition fan at the bottom to help with air circulation. The carbon filter was giving with the tent so not sure if its too much as it has no power switch just plug in. No control speeds either. off RH is at 70%. On I can maintain the RH at 50-55% but temps drop about 3-4 degrees. I waited about 4 days now soil was pretty dry. I decided to water giving them good run off. Plants are looking lil greener. The've grown 1 and 1/2 inches since the first pic

(Not true color due to led lights)
