on my way from town

a frown upside down

passing that same church

almost turning in with a lurch

i remembered a promise

continuing left n right

gave me a start and a fright

and i wondered within

empty parking without

all this suffering about

how many would show

shaking elbows forgiven

with strangers in stinky rows

on knees praying for strangers

isn't that how charity

and compassionate people go

but with nobody present

only their gods will ever know

I'm cool with knowing if i need to sit home and do nothing

trump walked into a broken system

so we could invest that invisible trillion in pension plans vegases and seagulls

flying over a dump

vegas is pyramid blinding and fun

while good strangers n daughters

dig through garbage rotting under the sun

wise investments
