Hey Pnasty,
It looks as though you have your lady in a bit of a large container. Is that true? I can’t tell from your picture. I usually start my seedlings in a red solo cup. You may also want to consider going with less H2O.Seedlings can develop root rot pretty easily. What is your lighting situation? How long per day? Do have any fans in your grow area?

I have the whole setup pretty on point as far as I can figure out. My temperature and random other little stuff are being the biggest little bitches for me. I am always trying to have everything perfect from how I read up on big grows. But I feel like I need to let my first timer excitement pass and just let them do their thing. I kinda feel like ive bent over backwards to be an overprotective parent. Let them figure it out a little bit lol.

The temp is what im really struggling with . Got all this shit hooked up but i can't maintain a solid temp. Minnesota weather right now is hard to deal with windows open and air-conditioned shit.

Im in an upstairs appt so it's always hot anyway. If I cool off the whole room it still doesn't change the inside of the tent temp. If I blow a fan from the ac unit through the air tube, it stays around 86° in the tent. If I turn the AC on, the tent temp drops to like 72, then the air stops and it goes back up to like 84°, then stops and goes back down . Over and over all day. I need a solution to this problem! Then I think ill be good to sit back and watch for a while while they get pretty!

Also in response to the big pots, yes I do. But i germinated them in paper towels until they sprouted, then had my lights very low to the buckets until all the sprouts had good base leaves. After they were all solid plants and ready to grow, I moved the lights up until the lux reader said the canopy was getting the right light. I started them in fox farm soil and 5 gallon buckets to make sure I didn't have to re-pot and stress the roots. I dont get why starting them in something smaller would benefit the plants at all. If the water, light, humidity, temp, nutrition and all that is good, the bucket size shouldn't matter. If anything i think it would be better putting less stress on the plant by re potting it.

I meant less stress on the plant instead of having to re pot it

Do they have to be in the tent?
Maybe rotate the tent 180° and leave the door open since it would then be facing the wall?
Seems like THAT A/C would allow you to keep meat fresh in the room.
If the room is your envelope then just blow enough envelope air into the tent to make the climate in & out the same. Probably take a good amount of air movement but it HAS TO work. Exhaust the "used" air outside.
Good luck. Sure seems like an easy fix.

The idea of starting them off in something smaller is to concentrate on watering them with just the right amount of water. I start my seedlings in Root Riot plugs. This makes transferring them very easy with no stress on you or the plant.

I’d have them all out in that room dude if it’s spear space my lord get that full baby !
These tents are heat traps man it’s hard to regulate it in a small space of corse it is aim for a vpd and get there or there abouts it’s not the end of the world dude if you’ve a half decent strain the heat won’t bother them to much it’s all everyone bangs on about these plants will grow under most conditions shit I’ve had them on windows in green houses just on the garden I’m in the uk it’s not warm it’s always wet my out door plants only get mardy about now coming up to the end of this months if all you’re worried about if the vpd then yorie winning bro there’s many more succulent little surprises on there way wait till you’re week 9 10 full bloom and you find spider mites or mould you will run into all these issues bro my top tips get a good strong cutting get a decent environment don’t have to be bang on all the time the small fluctuations give the plant things to work out last too tip less is more you can always add things cal mag bloom boost PK ect you can’t take it out the plant if you do to much happy growing my bro hope this run is what you want from
It good luck bro

Root riot cube all day long pop the tap root in bang in a humidity dome let them have a good two three weeks then transfer them into there finals watch them go ! There’s to much soil around them baby’s roots die off so fast it’s phenomenal good if she’s big and regrowing them baby’s don’t they lose them and that’s is you’ve a 50% plant before you’ve even started get to week 5 6 and think man these are tiny

That’s actually a really good idea spin it so you can have the door open all day probably all night too if it’s dark enough

Grower the biggest thing for your grow environment is the stability of the relationship between temp and humidity.

Cannabis plants can adapt to a wide range of environments. As long as it is a stable situation where the humidity goes up and down with temp you can still be in the zone. The number is called the Vapor Pressure Differential.
At that size you should be around .9 vdp
Vdp sets the transperation rate of the plant. When it is stable the plant runs water and nutrition through the plant. When it is not stable growth lags and that plant becomes more disease prone.
In middle flower and to the end you will want to try and get the heat down to 75 due to many studies at university and commercial growing that shows THC and terps are reduced in high heat. Some strains as much as 20% reduction from control results.
Good luck.

If your thermometer is in the tent under the lights it's likely reading 2-4f higher than the actual air temperature. Also I don't see an exhaust fan, the temps are going to be impossible to keep under control if you're not exhausting the hot air out of the top of the tent. I would go with a 6" fan, my 4" can barely handle a 3x3 and it's loud AF.

I have an exhaust fan it's got a hose coming out the top on the side right next to the wall. Its hanging down and you can't see it in the Pic. But I really do think I need a bigger one or something for this tent size. I can probably get a smaller tent and use the one I have now in there.

I think when I bought the tent kit cheap online it came with cheap equipment. I probably just need to redo the exhaust all together.

Is that the only outtake ? I’d deffo run something bigger man 8in or so ? Ac infinity do a cheap ish one they run forever bro and you can plug it into you’re outboard reader and app compatibility so it’s pretty cool I don’t even have my filter In my tent like to pipe it out stight onto the fan directly then my carbon outtake out side the tent seems to pull loads more air have you tried just switching it around so it pulls more ? And if the negative pressure is to much like blowing the tent out or sucking it to much or opposing fan is literally doing nothing
