Today at 4:20 Giselle started her wild white haired display while Prada next door is so far just watching. My first ever autoflower grow in augmented soil featuring rice husk dry biochar and toasted husks. Nearby is the germination area where plants are 24" from 2 blurple lights and 1 8 watt blue LED. I did not want to keep them in the main light (Mars Quantum 2000) because too strong. This new Hanna soil ph meter works well. Thanks also to the fabulous Frankster for the seed.

You sure you're happy about it showing flowers? It still looks like a seedling.

Your bulbs need to be way closer, those low power lights don't do anything more than 15cm away

Yes, I need to start with some food for sure at this point, worm tea with a bit of seaweed water coming next feeding. These plants jumped up and got too high too fast, but luckily have responded to being up-potted. I'm headed to the ocean to get some marine algae tomorrow so looking forward to using that. We don't have access to all the fancy sprays and powders here....so any real basic feeding ideas appreciated. I just got a fish tank pump so will set that up with some tea for brewing. The strain is called TBD...:)

Actually gave them milk while they were flailing...can also foliar spray with something. Can get them juice of young coconut diluted....other ideas that are reasonable can do.

Big day in the supplies department finding PERLITE in small bags for $1 and real Thai bat guano same price. Now I will really have the soil totally dialed in..(ahhh), I didn't find the place by the beach that has the estuary, but I would have needed serious bug repellent to attempt this. My wife stayed home so I could speed around and stop at places I never otherwise would have -- which was great luck. I came home to see some more shoots coming from the vegg area, and yes it doesn't have to get any better than that.

She is getting stronger with more white hairs coming at the nubin area. Why are there only 3 leaves on this plant? Definite move upward for the lights to 25" above Giselle. Have Cal-Mag coming and will have a separate tank at the correct Ph 10 liters and be very anal. Got wood alcohol sray for small bugs. Want top dress with something or just perlite for sure. The close up black object is biochar made by suffocating hot charcol with dry rice husks. Before the husks had tons of bugs and were wet but now toasted and biocharged. If there is HUGE demand I will post a video

thinking out aloud...

a suspect on my list - pH imbalance. there's some curls, and the discolouring can be a sign of nutrient lockout due to pH imbalance.

then i thought also overwatering (not you so much as grower, the grow medium's absorption rate).

i don't think its light burn.

you're thinking bugs, though? have you seen any on the plant or flying around, webs, etc?

I really think you are onto something and maybe there isn't enough actual soil in the mix. I will double check the ph of the overflow. I have a PPM meter, PH down (been using vinegar), Moisture meter and new organic fertilizer on order. I am mixing myself into oblivion and would much rather get something that works. The reviews on the site say this is good stuff and I've got a trusting soul so I will try...anything with 420 in the name must be good. I won't give up w/o a fight.

PRADA has busted through the nutrient block or ph problem and now is spreading out more and more leaves. Giselle is flowering at the top and is 2 weeks away from the chop. YETI is kinda taking over the grow with fan leaves the size of Lebron's hands. Sally Sasquash is behind but both seem to like 25-20-25 organic fertilizer. I am soaking biochar with worm tea and bat guano for activation. Marine algae now dry....thinking of adding as top dressing for Sally sasquash. Thinking they will continue to bush but will stretch in flower. Have LST in place with Yeti....who has a big stalk. Looking up here....being really generous with watering to 20% on this go around. Pork chops for reefereshments....Fountain for zen.

EVERY lady got into 5 gallon air pots in the past couple of days. Prada was very much rootbound and will hopefully spread out. The two Yeti and Sally Sasquash had really good root structures and they are 26" high week 1 of flower. Tap water being used...

Here are some closeups of badass buds filling out and getting fluffy. Totally dry inside with the aircon and fan -- tap water to 6.40 and 25-20-20 organic feeding with bat guano. Prada has blossomed nicely and Sally Sasquash has the lion's share of the light.
