hi people
i want to discuss defoliation with you, like, when is the best time to do it. identifying wich leaves to remove, and, when you are removing too much or too less, doing it in phases or doing it at once,
i like to discuss this topic with you guys, and i like to hear different opinions & tips

leaves do feed the plant, plant get it's carbon from co2 trhough photosynthesis, and carbon is 50% of plant dry mass as it's the basic skeleton of most chemical molecules.

whatever you do with defoliation my advice is to keep it as lite as possbile only removing some leaves or just some fan(s) from a leaf to give a better light exposure to some lower branches that made it to canopy level.

i usually defoliate more or less depending strains and phenotypes the last weeks of flowering stretch.

also i usually let most of the lower leaves decay before removing them
